As an Englishman who is presently in the USA on business, i feel i must ask this question.Most Americans who ive asked have never seen salad and thought i was telling porkies.It is well known to other countries, that Americans are quite gullible, hence the American government keeps the secret of salad quiet, so sales of beef rise.

Americans have lots of salads, we feed them to cows before we eat the cows. That being said, the last time I was in England, I could go to any pub, and watch the patrons grow fatter. You might want to consider that, seeing as England will most likely take our place as the most obese country by sundown tomorrow. So keep eating those greasy fish and chips and buy a reinforced chair for your computer. Soon you'll all look like Henry the 8th.
