I've talked to ordinary Iranians, and I've found that they'll shy away from ANY criticsim of the USA. Their atitude is that the USA is Paradise, and Iran is Hell. Their rulers haven't done ANYTHING right; when I mention economic indicators, they go off on a tangent. It's hard to get them to focus on any single question. The US and Cuba? Castros' a clown. The US and Iraq? Later. It's maddening. Can anyone help me understand this total devotion to the USA? I've heard of cultural cringe, but this is ridiculous!

It is funny that soo many people want to talk bad about the president. Oh he lied about WMD's and made a war over oil. We get bad intelligence sometimes, and many believe the primary reason for the entire war is to stop WW3, by seperating Iran and it dumb son Syria, by taking out the ever unpopular Iraq. Stop defending Terrorism and start defending Democracy that is not forcing religous rights on others. Iran won't even let college professors teach what the government does not approve. Stop the whining!!!!

As the president of Iran said in so many words, they wish to become as the more prominent countries,so they can have the freedom to make their own decisions about what they do...This is what is fueling the acts of terror!!!NOT President Bush! They want power to force the rest of the world to believe as they say to believe, that is why terror is worse! The terror 'had already' begin to worsen before Bush sent troops...can you honestly say it hadn't began to grow worse?

Abortion groups
Extreme Enviromentalists (Sierra Club) and PETA
Gay Rights (marriage)
I could go on and on but then I would be accused of "hate".
These groups are ONE ISSUE groups that your party embraces for the VOTES.
I do not agree with ANY of them!

Why does it seem that every black person in America is a Democrat? For what, I mean Republicans historicaly have done more for the black community and jobs. I am black and I am a Republican. I want a party that has less talk and more do. So, I guess my question is why do blacks in general just seem to fall in line with the Democratic party?

I read that 7/11 stores are dropping Citgo as their gasoline supplier. Citgo is from Hugo Chavez's Venezuela. I think this will be an effective punishment for Hugo's horrid behavior. Is boycotting a good idea?

Unfortunately, journalists have decided to focus on an obviously agitated Bill Clinton by referring to him as combative, and defensive as opposed to addressing some of the important issues that he raised. Is anyone else frustrated by this, and thinks that conservatives are eager to bash the one democrat who seems to have a spine. Is this an attack? By the way I am not a liberal.

Ok so I'm not quite sure what U.S. party I'd be a member of, or if I'm right-wing or left-wing, or if I'm a mix of both, etc. As far as economics go, I think capitalism works great, with minimized government interference. I also believe that people shouldn't be heavily taxed in order to pay for welfare or social security programs that will never benefit them, and that a person shouldn't be forced to pay to charities in this way. Socially, I am against the death penalty, and instead, I think the government should just work to actually keep sentences they give a person. For example, instead of killing someone for murder, they should instead put them in jail for life, and shouldn't go back on their word by letting them out after only 30 years. Also, socially, I do not necessarily actively support same-sex marriage, but at the same time, I don't think the government should have the power to forbid it. So, based on what I've said, what party/wing do I belong to? Thanks for your help!

what kind of a sick idea would that be? i heard that in one US airport, there is a muslim woman with a headdress working at the security gate. can we really trust her to report another bearded muslim who's carrying an illegal item in his carry-on? there was a female who attempted to blow herself up in Jordan at a hotel. She received the death penalty but I think it was just a "public relations" move to make jordan look like an anti-terrorist state. so just because its a woman, it doesn mean she's innocent. but thats not the real issue.
can we trust muslims? what if those muslims become brainwashed by all the anti-American nonsense that the Left is spewing out against its own country? theyll probably be ready to believe it.

Hypothetical question:

There is a man who has kidnapped 30 children, and has them tied up in a basement without access to water or food.

The man was video taped kidnapping them on a security camera.

This man is found walking around a day later and arrested. He refuses to disclose the location of the children, no matter what deal is offered to him.

DO YOU NOT THINK HE SHOULD BE TORTURED TO FIND OUT THE IFORMATION TO SAVE THE CHILDREN,

Or do you think his comfort is more important than the lives of the children?

Back before the days of civil rights, there were a few White who were members of organizations, such as the KKK. When the civil rights movement started, the number rose significantly because White were being challenged. those who were against civil rights were always there, they just didnt express it as much. Should the US really believe that the war on terror is "creating" more terrorists, and should it stop the war on terror, even it is *thought by some* to be creating more terror in the short run? Let's not forget, even though there were more people expressing their opinions against civil rights during the civil rights movement, and even though many atrocities occured, the movement was still successful, even if many people are still enrolled in the KKK, for example. though racism is still a part of life, the civil rights activists got what they wanted for the most part. you cant deny that it was a huge success for them.
