Your viewpoint has a certain George Carlin-esque quality to it. GC sees the production of styrofoam as something Mother Nature had planned. - Just as nuclear war happens perhaps because of the (Mother) Nature of man...
"Cleaning" is not exactly the term I would use.
The USA's restraint AGAINST the use of nuclear war and against the proliferation of them is just.
WE..., the USA will be the target of some Islamic fascists hatred who was given a nuclear device to blow up NYC or Washington (through Hezbolla or Al-Queda).
So yeah, I can see (how you see) nuclear war as a "cleaning" agent... No..., not demented. Just Mother Nature.

There is some merit to what you say but the fall out would be bad.

All those countries that hate America would be asking us to help with clean up.

Reading between the lines is not demented .

Not entirely, but mostly. Don't forget this country survived the cold war, when we had mutually assurred distruction. The simple "kill em all" rational is effective in the very short term, but has obvious terrible implacations for the future. As you say that, we're ready to attack Iran for threatening to use nukes. Are you prepared to defend them? Since you want to use nukes?

Yes... but not because of the cleaning but because of the destruction to the environment... Serial killing and genocides are good cleaning though. Nukes tend to dirty the entire planet.... Killing with more efficient weapons is fine tho...

hahah

Personally I would call you a Neo-Malthusian. You should look up the work of Malthus and see what he has to say on population control.
