I am neither a Right Wing Christian nor a Left Wing Jew, and I support the war AND our Troops....so that kinda blows your theory

No not at all. And don't assume that "right wing" Christians necessarily support the war either.

No, I would say that TRUE right wing Christians are exactly the ones who DON'T support it. For all Bush tries to pretend to be one, real Conservative Christians see him for the wolf in sheep's clothing that he is. A real Conservative Christian wouldn't start a war with a country that did nothing to us, just to assuage his Daddy issues.

What a horrible...
The United States of America has a lot to learn. In what way does criticizing the war good for the men and women that are serving? The reason Viet Nam was such a big problem was because of such petty bickering that the country appears to have long forgotten.
That is why history is important: If you dont learn from your mistakes you are doomed to repeat it.
Thanks to the "Baby Boomers", we get to re-live that sad time...if it werent for federal law, I would wager many of them who left jobs to serve wouldnt have one when they got back.

Why do you automatically assume that all conservatives are FOR war. I hate the idea of war, i hate the idea of people dying, but since we are already involved, i wish we could just get it done and over with.
I am a right wing - sooooooo.......

Actually, before for the war, ALL BUT ONE of America's churches opposed the war.
The proponent was, not suprisingly, the Southern Baptist's Convention.

they arent. and you dont have to be Christian to be Right Wing. but what do you mean support the war? do you mean that they support staying there or that they support having gone there or both? some people dont think it was justified, but they do think they should stay and not abandone them.

Unfortunately, no. There are still plenty of other boneheads out there who support the war. Bring the troops home! We've had enough.

It only makes sense, after all Jesus spent so much of his life talking about the importance of war.

It's very simple.
The current strategy in Iraq is based on blind faith. We close our eyes, and pray that everything will turn out fine in the end.
Only those who are truly devout, and understand that depths of true faith can sustain that kind of course in the face of the current reality.
