In Washington's farewell address, he warned about foreign entanglements with an eloquent speech, written in plain but brilliant terms. Please read it carefully and see if you can explain away the difference between our current mideast policy and the position that The Father Of Our Country took:

Every tax paying American would be allowed to punch; only once in their life time, any politician of their choosing, including the president!
Who would you punch?

they created Ahmadinejad and Chavez. These DEMOCRATICALLY elected leaders are the progeny of the right’s doctrine of spreading democracy. Why don’t you stop crying and embrace the offspring of your bastardized version of democracy? Because these two are only the first of many that will be democratically elected by nations that hate the US.

So read article, I will post below some of my 'favorite' excerpts...
Does this not make you feel uneasy?

--- "The attention given to the nuclear option has created serious misgivings inside the offices of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, he added, and some officers have talked about resigning," Hersh wrote. "Late this winter, the Joint Chiefs of Staff sought to remove the nuclear option from the evolving war plans for Iranwithout success, the former intelligence official said." ---

--- Last week, a military intelligence official described to this reporter the movement of Naval submarines and a deployment order sent out to Naval assets of strategic import, such as minesweepers, that could indicate contingency planning is already under way to secure oil transport routes and supplies. ---

If you think I'm being paranoid, then it is just as plausible to say one is paranoid about this:

Karl Rove has been the king of dirty politics finding emotional triggers to get unsuspecting voters to despise the Democratic candidate, or even the Republican moderate candidates that Rove wants to get rid of. He has used various strategies like getting the "Defense" of Marriage referendums on ballots in time to bring out conservative voters during the 2004 elections. What's he up to now? I would like to see these strategies named so the public will understand his political game up-front. In short, Let's Name the Game!

Ok, there are few out there that I respect. But the vast majority simply blame Bush or "greedy corporations". Simplistic at best, uninformed, lazy and herd mentality at worst. Where are you logical arguments? Where is you fiscal knowledge?

Yahoo! Some questions need a heck of a lot more characters than 110. There's no way I could've begun to include Civil Liberatarians an Environmentalists (as those words are too long) in there.

Who else am I missing?

No.

Fact:The United States has the highest crime rate in the Western world, and it has the death penalty. In countries where the death penalty does not exist, the murder rate is much lower.

So why cant we just get rid of goverment sactioned barbarism and
lower our murder rate already?

IAEA officials say hawks in the Bush Admin.
are trying to pull the "Iraq Scenario" in Iran where they accuse the inspection process of being inefficient. Bush didn't allow UN inspectors in Iraq to finish the job before invading. If he would have, we would not be there now. That would have been unacceptable to Cheney!

In every political debate in this country when republicans are faced with well-thought out and articulated differences of opinion their only response is to attack the person of the opposing opinion. Its very sad.

Have you ever heard Ann Coulter or Rush Limbaugh? They never offer contrary opinions or solutions only personal attacks and degradations. This seems to have become the standard conservative tactic in all political debate.

Let the attacks commence!

After years of drug abuse, do you think that Rush's brain may of suffered damage?

It is a fact that continual drug use destroys brain cells! And some people will never recover.

Would a lobotomy help Rush recover from the damage drugs inflicted on him?

Of course, the LIBERAL courts didn't make him go to jail for being a drug abuser, like they do to everyone else! Maybe Rush should be thankful to the liberals!
