Huh? What makes you think defining marriage as strictly monogamist and heterosexual is a conservative-only issue?
State Marriage Amendments passed by significant majorities in Michigan and Oregon (or was it WA?), two states not known for being hotbeds of conservatism.
And that wasn't what brought out voters. The fact that the heinous traitorous self-aggrandizing foppish twit Kerry was on the ticket got a lot of people out and voting against the Dems. No secret or dirty strategy required. That was scary enough for any sentient being to vote.

I guess you haven't been around very long......as this has been
going on in both parties for ever. One strategy that has played
out already in favor of Republicans is that Karl Rove wasn't
guilty after all for giving to the media the name of a covert agent..
they had hoped it wouldn't be found out until after the election,
but, whoops, it wasn't him afterall tho he had been dogged by
the media everywhere he went and Democrats pointed their
fingers at him. See how politics gets a dirty name?

astrologically, karl is the lowest form of the capricorn energy. such types are basically psychopaths. they will do anything to win. no felony is beneath them. they only care about themselves and their power and status. like nixon, also a "lowest" capricorn, they usually have low self-esteem (deservedly) and will do anything to have power over others so as to make themselves feel better. seems cliche', but it's actually that simple. btw the high expression of capricorn is quite the opposite: the "elder leader"-- a very responsible and caring person who is devoted to being of service to the community. e.g. albert schweizer. other low capricorns are dennis hastert, rush limpballs, and sean hannity. spot any common traits? ;-)

He'll wrap himself in the flag and when asked a question he'll answer 9/11,9/11,9/11 and the liberals fault and the public not being the most accurately informed bunch in the world will buy it.

Fear. He will make it clear that Democrats are weak on security and only Republicans will fight Terrorist. If you are against the Repulicans and against the war in Iraq, you must be a supporter of terrorism. This, however, will hopefully backfire. We aren't scared stupid anymore.

Rove's strategy is: Step one - sell soul to devil; step two - ask devil to rig elections such that republicans win.
