I drive an SUV not for safety but because my dog likes to ride with me and he fits in back.
I live less than 10 miles from my work, and only work 4 days a week, so a tank fo gas lasts just over two weeks.

I drive an suv for several reasons. First, a smaller car can't handle the loads I carry on a daily basis, secondly, I got it for a good price, and third, I go places in my work a regular car would never be able to get into, and if it did, it wouldn't be able to get out. As for the safety of others, I see no reason why my suv is more dangerous than your vw beetle.

I drive a Ford Escape Hybrid - I need an SUV for my job. In the city, I am getting between 35 - 40 MPG.

Haha! I don't know if the latter is their intention, but it seems SUV drivers are a bit over confident in driving and hence put other people in danger.

I'd rather keep some of that money (spent on gas) instead of handing it over to the fat cats in the oil business.

Because some jerk offs decided to not study and therefore could not get a good job and therefore could not afford an SUV,,,then all of us should be forced to drive cheap *** cars because you are too lazy and or to stupid to get a good job?

They will make any excuse to justify destroying the environment. They have alot of kids to shuffle around, alot of stuff to carry.They are very busy important people.
You arent that busy.You arent that important and your kids probably hate you. There are tons of cars that are nicer looking than an suv.
