Ok I'm a conservative, a Republican, and I don't much care for the democrats. But in a nut shell are these the agenda items of the democratic party - and if so will they run on them?

1) Raise taxes on the wealthy - will they define wealthy?
2) Regulate industry - but cry about them shipping jobs overseas?
3) Spend more on education - what will we get?
4) Spend more on health care - what will we get?
5) Give amnesty to 12 million illegal immgrants?
6) Allow gays to marry?
7) Start a national flag burning holiday (ok I'll quit the sarcasm)
8) End the war in Iraq? What that will mean they don't know?
9) Get Osama? How I'd like to know.
10) Give all terrorist OJ type trials in American courts?
11) What did I miss?

Tom Delay launders hundreds of thousands of dollars and he gets a friggin goodbye party.

Nixon recieves a pardon from Gerri.

Karl Rove leaks a CIA agent's name *cough*treason*cough* and he gets off scott-free.

What kind of a message is this? Become a politician and get rich?

Note: I asked this as an unbiased Q. I realize that there are corrupt democrats as well. So Please! Don't post an Answer praising repubs and attacking democrats.

Well, I, a conservative, find all my liberal friends very selfish. They only want to talk about how THEY care about the environment, and how THEY dont like George Bush, and how THEY want to be a better person than me and help starving people, who are probably liberal themselves because they are too lazy to make MONEY and get a god damn job.

A person answering a certain question earlier today made many good points, i'd like to show you his answer...it was just a good one, hitting all the issues i was thinking of when i read the question! The question was, "Could Conservatives be any more intolerant?" his reply was:

Maybe you liberals could help us with an excuse, you're good at it.
-Excuses for no job
-Excuses for poverty
-Excuses for why kids can't learn anything in school
-Excuses for philandering presidents
-Excuses for presidents that lie to Grand Juries
-Excuses for why nobody could get out of New Orleans
-Excuses for why they flew planes into the World Trade Center

Why do people insult Michael Moore and talk about how fat he is, etc...... but they can not refute the facts that he presented in the film? Could it be that it is all true?.... I have never heard anything to say otherwise

Before anybody goes off the deep end defending him, please keep in mind that Mike Moore said ...

"The Iraqis who have risen up against the occupation are not 'insurgents' or 'terrorists' or 'The Enemy.' They are the REVOLUTION, the Minutemen, and their numbers will grow -- and they will win"

That's a directly anti-American quote. I'm confused as to why liberals and Democrats support a person like this. Why do they?

I know a lot of people saw that stupid movie of his, and a lot of them actually believed it was all true, but still ... it's a little hard to take people like that seriously. Agree?

Remember that Mike Moore is the one who said ...

"I would like to apologize for referring to George W. Bush as a 'deserter.' What I meant to say is that George W. Bush is a deserter, an election thief, a drunk driver, a WMD liar, and a functional illiterate. And he poops his pants."

Yah ... let's take that guy seriously. The guy with the "poops his pants" quote. Great stuff.

You watch Alan Colmes on TV and you can disagree with him but at least respect him. Ed Schultz too. Michael Moore? Are you guys kidding with your "support" of a guy like that?

When she makes comments about tax policy like this ...

"Many of you are well enough off that...the tax cuts may have helped you. We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good"

The very idea that en elected official would make a statement about taxes that says "we're going to take things away from you" is scary as hell. It shows she's completely out of touch with the idea that the money is mine and not the governments.

And it's even more frightening that an elected official thinks the government can better take care of me with my money than I can. They can't pave roads and they want MORE of my money. Scary.

I'd like a politician that has enough respect for us that they'd be quicker to eliminate government than to increase it. Another Reagan would be GREAT.

What do you think?

In a question about the nomination of Harriet Miers nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court, Dean said ...

"But in the this case, I think with a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court, you can't play, you know, hide the salami, or whatever it's called."

Whatever. Don't you think the Democrats could find somebody to lead the party who can frame a thought better than this?

Shouldn't mangling public speeking be reserved for Presidents?

Five US Marines in Iraq to supposedly "liberate" the country notice a pretty young Iraqi woman on their regular patrols, in the town of Mahmoudiyah. One day, when they have the opportunity, they decide to rape this woman. So they do it. They brutally gang rape her in her own home. They then murder her and her entire family, including her husband and young child, before burning her body. And then they carry on with their patrol.

This is the latest atrocity committed by US troops in Iraq. Is the US uniquely evil? Is there something unique about the US culture that can breed such sadistically sick and cruel men? Or is evil equally distributed between the US and other groups and nations?

I see Al Gore has the home page masthead featured question today.

He has a whopping 99 points. He's checked in a couple times and answered nothing. The rest of us need at least 5000 points for that opportunity. How does that make you feel?

It is a known fact that the owner of Diebolt voting machines is President George W Bushes cousin. Doesnt anybody find it odd that W won twice and that republicans are staying in office for some strange reason. I know americans arent dumb enough to keep W in office twice. The voting machines are fixed. Its been proven. Youre vote doesnt count.
