Yes, he's gone off the deep end. He seems to be trying to set himself up for another run in '08 on the environmental platform. I predict it will all blow up in his face though once all his lies about global warming get more exposure.

If you're refering to the global warming campaign, ask anyone with even a little bit of education in the science field, and they will confirm that we humans ARE affecting the climate. It is interesting to me that unlike proponents of the issue (issue, because it's not a theory anymore, but solid fact), the opponents tend to quote random numbers without any reference whatsoever. Things like "oh, it's a natural cycle of the earth to warm up and cool down," well, it is, but the trend is that greenhouse gases are currently higher than they've ever been in millions of years. I've also read that "it's only getting about 1/2 degree warmer per century." Where did that fact come from? It's been much warmer than that in the past decades alone, how else would all the glaciers be melting. And people don't seem to understand how much 1/2 degree difference means in terms of adding on the the energy of the tornatoes and tsunamis in the ocean.
Scientific instruments have been measuring the changes in climate and have proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that global warming is happening. This is not a political issue, the earth warms and pollutes for convervatives and liberals alike. Scientists around the world, with different political views ALL agreed that we're warming up the planet. Al Gore's movie has received the scientific community's endorsement in terms of accuracy of data, even if he did simplify the cause of global warming to just CO2 gas. It's more than CO2, but most of the greenhouse gases are also affected by humans.

No. He is very smart and power hungry. The only way the Democrats can actually win is to contrive a theory scarier than terrorism. Then he can always turn around later and say,"Well, there is global warming i did'nt lie. Iwas just off by 200 years or so as to when the tipping point would actually occur.".

gore is relying on science and the fact that the glaciers are obviously melting is it normal or are we doing somethiing to affect a change.
DOES not matter we need to get of oil and coal because it stinks up communitys like ciggereettes do and i can not stand the smell and its bad for you to breath worse then second hand smoke.sitting in traffic for one hour a day is like smoking two cigerrettes
so lets forget the truth and continue killing ourselfs for oil .
the government did a studie on exhust fumes and there are cancer causing agents in them .so pipe that in your smoke for a minute.
AL is on track here and unless we do something soon we will be in deep dododod.

He's appealing to his base; he's also soaking up their money and getting rich off it too. Kind of funny to watch. Maybe by November they won't have enough money left to defend their agenda.
You know like tax the rich,
Regulate industry (sending jobs overseas)
Determining what kind of car you can drive - and when
Giving 12 million new residents your social security
Oh and most important - giving felons the right to vote.
