Absolutely NOT! Libs want terrorists to have rights...just like they want to give rights to criminals.
You are a good American for pointing out another blemish in liberalism!

I agree. Unfortunately some are detained and are innocent. This is a fact in every prison or gulag in the world though and shouldn't be an issue. For crying out loud WE ARE AT WAR people are fighting and dieing. Peaceful Muslims have been oppressed for far too long. The vast majority want peace and wish to pray in a democracy that won't keep them oppressed. A free Iraq are the extremist worst nightmare making there way of life an impossibility, unless they choose to practice there way of life within there own home. It is the answer. Staring us all in the face. United We Stand Divided We Fall.
fortunatley these "detainees" aren't dead which could easily have been the case. So they should count they're blessings even the innocent ones. They could of been casualties rather than "detainees."
THEY DO NOT GET RIGHTS UNDER THE GENEVA CONVENTION SO FOR THE ONES THAT SAY THEY DO....YOU LOOK IT UP!!!!!!!

If you were the size of King Kong and walked down the main street of your town with a net scooping up people, how would you know who in the net is guilty and who is innocent?

Come on! The concept of justice and judicial process is not as difficult or as hideous as you and other conservatives who forgot the foundations of liberty seem to be making it out out to be.

How is the United States ever going to convince the world that our brand of justice is worth emulating when we don't even practice the brand of justice we preach????

You might want to relearn the great principle of American jurisprudence and the foundation of our law, "innocent until proven guilty".

P.S. The Supreme Court of the United States already "looked it up" and you guys who say that those prisoners have no rights are wrong, wrong, WRONG!

The problem with the ones in guantanimo is that they were held often for no defined reason.

If they are so dangerous, then we should be able to prove it easily. If they aren't dangerous and should be let go, then we should do so.

How do you know that every one of them are terrorists? Were you there when they were apprehended and know that they all have terrorist ties?

I hope everyone that agrees with you is improperly prisoned one day and denied their rights... of course if they keep supporting the issues they are supporting, the odds of that happening are greatly increased...

just because you call them "detainees" it doesn't change anything... nice job with the semantics... Clinton uses the semantics card with the definition of sex, you guys use it with people...

if you're going to call it a war on terror, then they are prisoners of that war...

Former members of the Taliban have rights under the Geneva convention. However, members of Al Qaeda do not.

Guantanamo is like the true representation of how america thinks the rest of the world should be treated and that is why americans are so highly thought of throughout the world.

The detainees at Gitmo have no rights as defined by the Geneva Convention. They don't have a right to a trial by their peers. They are enemy combatants.

I'm with you on this one totally! They are barbaric Islamic Fascists that were enemy combatants that were thankfully captured. I think that a military tribuanl should have been done and those guilty should be hung until the sun goes down!

Are you serious? If you can't beat 'em join 'em? Really? If you think so, then enlist and help the fight. Otherwise, trust in the decision of the Supreme Court that your beloved Republican President and Republican Congress just rigged last fall. Even they think it's gotten out of line.
