Molten metal pools were found at the bottom of all three debris fields on 911. And the steel stayed in liquid form for over a month.

Scientific fact: An open air jet fuel fire can reach a maximum temperature of 1200*F.

Scientific fact: It takes a temperature in excess of 2750*F to melt steel, and you can only achieve that temperature using a controlled blast furnace, or using thermite explosives.

It's a scientific question that requires a scientific answer. It's not a question about who did something, or why they did it. It's only about what caused the steel to melt.

Fearful people are more dependent, more easily manipulated and controlled, more susceptible to deceptively simple, strong, tough measures and hard-line postures. ... They may accept and even welcome repression if it promises to relieve their insecurities.

I mean, right now you'd probably find about 30% who would admit they voted for him.
What will that figure be in 2009?
I remember the amazing number of Nixon's landslide voters who disappeared by 1974.

In the UK a liberal is someone who believes in the free market, with a minimum of state intervention. The word "liberal" comes from a Latin word meaning "free". Can someone explain to me why so many people in the US have a thing about "liberals"? Do they dislike freedom? Are the people who dislike liberals socialists or something?

I suggest that when 68% of the American people do not want Amnesty and yet we are getting it ( at least the Senate), that everyone who voted for it lose their next election no matter who is running against them. With a new group of Senators we do the same thing until these guys start representing us. Got to play hardball or they will continue to run our lives as they want!

How do guns roll down hill into the hands of teenagers. Who is profitting most from these gun purchases? Are corporations behind this? and if so, which ones. Illinois, Chicago in particular has seen too many losses due to guns - please someone come up with a real solution!

We know you don't have any idea. But just fake it.

Dems have 51% of the seats in the House.
Dems have 51% of the seats in the Senate.

Any time a bill needs to be passed, it requires Republicans to sign off on it. Dems don't blindly tow the party near as much as Republicans.

Lets use the Senate as an example because any higher numbers and I know I'd lose half of you:

There are 51 Democratic Senators.
There are 49 Republican Senators.

Unless all 51 vote the exact same way, Dems will not have enough to pass Dem sponsored legislation.

In the event they do manage to pass a bill, it then goes before Bush so he can veto it.

Once Bush gives it a veto, it is then sent back to Congress. Congress then has to vote again, and if they do not have 2/3 of the vote, they cannot override the veto.

(2/3 of the Senate would be 67 votes, so that would require at LEAST 16 Republicans to sign off on the bill)

I'm gonna post this every day until it sinks in.

Do we believe in freedom and democracy enough, that a state where a vast majority of the people want to be free from the Federal Gov......should we allow that state to be free?or should that state be held in USA against its will? The civil war was about slavery, this is about freedom. I would be interested to see what people really think on this issue. My guess is this, in a book I read long ago...
Either Texas or California will be the first to leave the USA from a federal viewpoint, strictly for freedom and economics.

Proving for the millionth time that guns don't kill people, people kill people.
