JF, what is my point? Read the question and answer, would you go to Cuba for treatment of a serious illness? I can't make it any simpler, sorry.

I'm left handed...and my wife thinks I get more republican as the days go by (I don't think the two are related, btw).
I don't know anything about Cuba's health care system. So I can't say. I have, however, started checking into getting anything I need medically wise from Canada. America's health care system is embarrassing. After fighting with it for two years, I found that I'm doing better dealing with any issues like that through Canada (American-Canadian, btw). Are you saying Cuba has a good health care system? Well, if I ever get really sick, I guess it's another option

Would consider it, but also would be hard to convince that the best option is in Cuba.

I would go were I could get the best medical treatment.

However I would bet that people in Cuba have more access to healthcare then the millions of uninsursed in America.

What is your point?

If I felt I could get better treatment for my disorder in Cuba I would certainly consider it.

your questions always feature deeply uninformed opinions.

in fact, medical 'tourism' is on the rise and some are considering trying to enact laws to try to stop it.

many ALREADY travel abroad to get operations - the cost difference is that great.
