I didn't, until I came upon this website. After all, before George Bush became president, we had a wonderful domestic economy, the Twin Towers still stood in the heart of New York, there was global peace, no global warming, and now all those things have changed.

I am not a christian, nor am I an aethiest.

But whenever I tell a christian that I am not a christian they simply assume I am an aethiest (ignorant). I believe in science, not superstition. My faith is based on science. That does not mean that I am an aethiest.

Now for my question..

Why do you belive that your morals, and religious beliefs have any place in politics?

The founding of our nation was based on the idea of religious freedom. I believe that religion has NO place in politics. Science has a place in politics because it is the study of the truth. Don't get me wrong, I respect christian beliefs for the most part. Just as I respect all religions. They are all fundamentally the same. Virutues should be practiced and vices should not. And I agree. I just do not belive that The Bible is a credible source of information. It is not scientific. It is not factual. It was written many years ago by people who did not understand basic physics. Why must I conform?

I mean there are so many needs & they want us to suffer when they can just print more money. We are Americans and they should help every US citizen. Maybe the crimes would decrease if there were less money problems.

If the fact that people expected it to fall before it actually did indicates a conspiracy, then I must be part of it!

I remember watching either NBC or MSNBC that afternoon - Ashleigh Banfield
was reporting - and she was saying that authorities were warning that the
building was damaged, on fire and about to fall. Apparently the
firefighters, etc. were pulled from the building because it was a hopeless
case - the blast, concussion, fuel, debris, fire and other effects of the
WTC blasts and collapses were too much - and the building would be
abandoned and allowed to fall. No need to lose any more people on a day
when thousands had clearly already died. And yes, the building did fall,
as predicted. Apparently in the confusion the "will collapse" report was
garbled into a "has collapsed" report on the BBC, 3,000 miles away.

I ask this question because the current system invites all legal citizens to participate in voting despite of their knowledge of government or politics. Don’t you think a basic test of government knowledge (something very basic like “who was the first president of US” or “what party is Condoleeza Rice representing”) is essential in order to qualify people for voting. How can one make a decision if they don’t posses the simple understanding of the system.

When explaining his opinion on stem cell research, Bush claimed he could not support a tax payer funded policy that "destroys life in order to save life."

But certainly Bush knew before he launched the war in Iraq that there would be innocent people killed in the cross-fire of battle. Certainly he knew that this military initiative (meant to protect us from WMD [to preserve or "save" lives]) would result in the end of thousands of innocent lives.

With that in mind (and because he is adamant in his belief that HUMAN life begins at conception) by his own standard is George W. Bush a murderer?

Sidenote: By Bush's standard a clump of cells in a petrie dish is worth more than an Iraqi civilian. Nice, eh?

Presently, Bush's popularity is not doing well after there have been about 3K soldiers dead. In Lincoln's time, 680,000 soldiers were killed. The US population was a lot smaller. There must have been hardships galore in the homes of widows and labor shortages, the economy couldn't have been good. I'll bet there were quite a few who wanted him assasinated. Yet, I was always taught that he was such a great man. The US must have been a total mess back then.

How can one keep proffessing the 'evils' of giving illegal immigrants 'all the jobs' in this country w/o looking at the people who are giving them jobs? The AMERICANS that are capitalizing off the fact that they technically can't do anything about crap wages or problems they have on the job sites b/c if they try to report it they'll get deported! How does one justify pretending that the real problem is that they're breaking the law by taking the jobs and being here? How can you possibly complain about the eventual outcome of what you perceive as a problematic situation w/o acknowledging and even going so far as to completely ignore the full cause and effect cycle involved? And how many of you have the gall to admit what your real problem is with the whole situation? That's not to say it's all exactly the same, but anyone who will criticize something while wholly and willfully ignoring the process that allowed it to take place always has some ulterior motive, in my experience.

It seems to me that the Gulf coast is being ignored yet again by our government. 110 billion in aid for the gulf coast and over 300 billion spent in Iraq with many more billions being spent and asked for. And it seems that most of the people in Iraq don't want us there. I feel that Iraq will go through a civil war wether we stay 5 yrs. or 30 yrs.. So shouldn't we be spending that money to help our own citizens?

But then are afraid to allow the public to email or IM for further debate?

Seems like if you really believe what you say, you'd be willing to back it up if questioned, and not hide behind an anonymous account. Why not allow people to email you, and stand up for what you believe?

I just wrote a new R&B song. Here it goes, ¨Norman dG., you will go o down in historry, so proud as if you stormed the beaches of Normandy, but to me you are just Norman B., the dude that will go down in history, a snitch to some, to me just a mystery. (rap solo)
Norman, whatcha thinkin bout mormon, I am so quick like the old foreman, and everybody in the 60´s was scared of Norman, I didn´t say mormon, just the freakishly weird Norman. One, two...
two, one, a one, two, a three, and a four, all I hear from Norm is please don´t attack me anymore, I report answers quicker than a $%floor, open, close, and re-open the door, get on the floor, Norman don´t hit the door.¨
How was that? Who will publish that one? Maybe Norm can, norm, can you send some money to my e-mail account, to get this song published? I mean you already have written directly to my e-mail 5 times. Can you answer this question without worrying about little buttons like thumbs up and down, mister? Love&Respect.
