Honours Probe: Advisor Escapes Charge from
Sky News
There is "insufficient evidence" to charge former Government advisor Des Smith over the cash-for-honours inquiry, the Crown Prosecution Service has said. Mr Smith, who was the first person to be arrested by investigating officers last April, had always denied any wrongdoing?
Any views on this?

It just seems like a vicious circle. Like having "In God We Trust" on money. Someone might say it infringes on an Atheist's civil rights. But wouldn't removing it infringe on anyone who believes in a god's civil rights? It seems like this country has is crossing the line between common sense and insanity.

"I come to this debate, Mr. Speaker, as one at the end of 10 years in office on the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, where stopping the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction was one of my top priorities. I applaud the President on focusing on this issue and on taking the lead to disarm Saddam Hussein. ... Others have talked about this threat that is posed by Saddam Hussein. Yes, he has chemical weapons, he has biological weapons, he is trying to get nuclear weapons."

I don't want sentimentalist responses, like morality arguements, "Israel" is the only democ argument" - I would like to know in plain dispassionate policy language, if Israel's interest is America's interest. Please don't get emotional.

Well son, they don't actually plan on stopping global warming, as there is nothing they can do to change the natural fluctuations in our climate. Why didn't they stop the genocide if they had the power stop it? Well it doesn't really play into their agenda. So what is their agenda? Good question son! Here is list-

1. Fight US capitalism
2. Wine and dine at the finest resturants
3. Fight US hegemony
4. Bi*** and moan
5. Take bribes from dictators
6. Be as useless as possible
7. Blame the US for all world problems
8. Promote world government

Hillary made one trade in futures supposedly by herself.

She made $100,000 and never traded again.

Was that a legitimate trade or is hillary a criminal who took a bribe?

After all the majority of victims of the Whitewater fraud were middle class Americans, and the profits Bill and Hill made helped fund their political careers. Why doesn't she pay it back now that she is a millionaire?

I did not vote Democrat. But I am asking whether their supporters feel they would not be "following through" on their promises if they did not do these things - address the deficit and stop the war.

What say you? Thanks.

I saw that phrase on a older man's bumper sticker the other day. Yellow dog to me sounds like something you would call a cowardly person, but I don't think that would be something a person would want to call themselves. Anyone know?

Surely, USA will fall like any other super power. It's inevitable and apparently, it's on its way! My question is, among the promising countries, who do you think will be likely to take the rank of being the most powerful country in years to come? China, India, EU others. Thanks!
