We are run by the most PC Government ever.We are scared to upset any minority especially the troublesome Muslim Community.

We seem to be the dumping ground for every scrounger in the world with the amount of people on welfare benefits mostly living in London!!!!.

I used to support Labour but since they turn a blind eye to every beggar that reaches this country i will abstain next election until A Government that puts the British first and foremost!!!!

I think the uk has gone way down hill and the sad truth is its gonna get worse, we have no proper law and order, very lttle rights ( except the criminals ) high taxes, low minimum wage and full of scum. England use 2 be a great country but because there has been so many drastic changes through the years its made england into a bad country, of course there are worse but england could be a lot lot better

I think that our lovely country is going down the pan,the liberal lefty types who were the hippy generation are now in their 50s/60s & are now running the place & have made a **** up of the whole country,Their social policies have left us with a totaly undiciplined society,which is a problem they are trying to solve with outrageous laws that impinge on the law abiding.
Parts of the U.K are beautiful but they are becoming few & far between too much development is being allowed too many buildings with no supporting infrastructure,we are a small island and are becoming overcrowded.The govt allow this building because it is about the only thing we now produce its all about revinue.Imigration is out of hand,how can they say that the transport infrastructure cant cope,class sizes are too big,prisons are overcrowded,hospitals/GPs/dentists cant cope & still let more imigrants in ?The politicians pay too much attention to the vocal minorities & not enough to the silent majority.Im no extreme right winger but I do feel that the right is the diection in which we as a country shoud go.
Generaly though its not a bad place to live,you can drink the tap water,no dangerous creepy crawlies or animals,no mosquitoes/malaria,no extreme weather conditions,free healthcare,lots of freedoms,& we dont have a politician as head of state- not bad in all.There is only one place I think I would rather live & that is 1950s Britain (after the end of rationing).

While the Big Brother watching retards let the country go to wreck and ruin,brain dead square eyed idiots. Pretty place, a lot of racism. Still stuck in the class system mode. Losing a bit of their stuffiness but still stuck in the Middle Ages in some ways. Still think that they are better than everyone else.

When Tony Blair stood beside George Bush, I am surprised that American citizens did not cringe with embarrassment. What is still supreme in Britain is the Brits' ability to talk rings around everyone else with good manners and wonderful language.

I`m english i live here in england we are too easy going and let others walk all over us, the English Irish Welsh and Scott's have a go at each other at times, but if we were to be invaded tomorrow we would get together and beat them up.But we would go back to the status quo.But its still feels good to be British at times.

the uk is the collective name of a group of countries; england, northern ireland, scotland and wales. i'm from england and i love my country with a passion. i'm fiercely patriotic but i fear its beyond saving. political correctness is out of control, taxation and charges are criminal, everday values exist less and less, its a mess. however its our little mess and we should never give up on it ever, if not for ourselves but for the good people this country once belonged to.
