"The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the operation's sensitivity, said at least one AC-130 gunship was used in the attack.

CNN, NBC and CBS first reported the military action. Citing Pentagon officials, CBS said the targets included the senior al-Qaida leader in East Africa and an al-Qaida operative wanted for his involvement in the 1998 bombings of the American embassies in Kenya and Tanzania.

The same operatives are also believed responsible for a 2002 attack on Israeli tourists in Kenya and an attempt to shoot down an Israeli aircraft the same day, NBC News reported.

The 1998 bombings of the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania killed more than 250 people. The 2002 attack on an Israeli-owned hotel in Kenya killed 15."

I am Belize in a Model UN conference coming up soon, and I would like to know what is the best way to get noticed and at least get an honorable mention. It is a General Assembly committee too which makes it even harder to be noticed compared to some of the other countries. I have done a lot of research, so I am ready. Any suggestions?

Not many people know that the "fetuses" used for stem cells are actually the fertilized eggs infertile couples use to have a child, the doctors make dozens of extras to better increase the odds of getting the woman pregnant. The ones they dont use are thrown away like common garbage. (or more like common biohazard garbage.)

So my question is if it is murder to use stem cells to potentionally save another life, then why is it that doctors are allowed to make dozens of fertilized eggs and throw away the extras?

Its just a freindly debate so please no one get too offended.. I could debate either way and dont have too strong a moral conviction.

Personally I think that the current government needs to be calling the shots. Foreign troops should be assisting the Iraqi military and police under their guidance. It would give power to the PM and the Iraqi police and military. I also feel that democratic government that provides a great deal of autonomy to regional governments shoudl be established. We need this to end with Iraq victorious and terrorists demorlaized.

It was God's will to set the fate for the world by stirring up Florida vote dispute in 2000.

Voters were so focused then, and it must be God's will ... else people will not so blinded in doing what they did.

Can you imaging the otherwise? no 911, no Iraq war and we are still watching CNN to show Sadam flashing his swords ...
