What about the Iraqi's forming a government similar to the Taliban? Wouldn't that be a worse scenerio than Saddam?

Gasoline will be very expensive forever and our own money will make our enemies rich.
On top of millions of people killed by thug dictators--just like what happened after Vietnam. We'll probably lose an ally in the region to relgious fanaticism--maybe Jordan or Kuwait. Just like we lost Afghanistan after Vietnam. We also lost Iran after Vietnam--smooth move losing that place eh?

Same thing that happened in Cambodia, 'The Killing Fields' & Rawanda. This is a natural phenomnia. Those people will cull each other out. Many will die, than it will be over & Peace will return.
Happens on a regular basis ammoungst a group of Rodents known as: Lemmings.
Humans arn't rodents. But we are cannabalist primates. The largest, most environmentally destructive varmits on the planet.
Our population is about 1000X what a healthly median sized primate, with our environmentally destructive capability should be. This has happened countless times in human history.
Is is exerbated in Iraq because were really there for 1 reason: OIL!!!

We will save American lives.
Other than that, the same thing(s) will happen whether we are there or not: money meant for reconstruction disappearing, corruption, fighting between Muslim sects that will never get along, car bombings, and a culture that does not grant human rights especially if you are a Woman.
