Does American policy make enemies of all Arabs and Muslims - meaning hundreds of millions of Arabs and one billion four hundred million Muslims around the world. Lots of groups will surface, not necessarily al-Qaeda, and they'll be impossible to bring to justice.

The Sunday Times - Britain April 16, 2006
IRAN has formed battalions of suicide bombers to strike at British and American targets if the nation’s nuclear sites are attacked. According to Iranian officials, 40,000 trained suicide bombers are ready for action.

What about America? Richard Armitage Deputy Secretary of State, who did four tours in Nam and knows a bit about war, says that, in its ability to attack Western targets, al-Qaeda is the B team, Hezbollah the A Team. If Bush bombs Iran, what prevents Hezbollah from launching retaliatory attacks inside the United States?

Both are horrendous events in evil. Yet the bombing of Pearl Harbor was a military strike, targeting not civilians but enemy militia. The use of surprise and subterfuge has always been an accepted art of war.

The incarceration of Japanese Americans, however, though lesser in scale, may be worse in type. Before you jump on me, yes, more people died in Pearl Harbor. But this incarceration was the act of a nation imprisoning its very own people for no justifiable reason.

Think about which is worse: America's pre-emptive attack on Iraq, or if police suddenly broke into your home tonight and shuttled you away to Alaska simply because you are black or latino or female.

We have to look into the reality, the whole media is controlled by jewish lobbies, they show as hizbollah is shooting over the shoulders of labanoese innocent people,i am a person who is totally against Al-Qaeda type terrorists, but in case of hizbollah, people love them,al-qaeda and and hizbollah are two different groups of people, al-qaeda is a sunni muslim where as hizbollah's are shia, for alqaeda it is their beliefs to kill innocnet people, not only those who belong to other religion and even the shias, but the shia community or hizbollah has no such believs, for shia muslims it is a sin to give pain to anyone whether a muslim or a non muslim, but what the jewish lobby is doing, they are representing hizbollah as alqaeda to the people of the world, which totally wrong.people of lebanon love hizbollah, theu elect them in election, therefore trying to kill hizbollah or labanese or those who living peacefully with their religion is a real sin.

Only China and the US won't sign. Landmines kill and blow the legs off some 20 000 kids in Africa a year. Could it be that the US still manufactures 70% of these landmines, and don't want to lose the business?

There are people that come on here and simply think that Americans should be divided into hate/name calling groups like Liberals/Conservatives - Republicans/Democrats. Do you think the majority just comes on to name call or are there really legitimate citizens that want to understand the country we live in and the views of our neighbors? The reason I ask is that many of the question(s) posed on here are from people that are simply looking for answers that corroborate the way they feel.......is this not a waste of what this forum could be?
