There are people that come on here and simply think that Americans should be divided into hate/name calling groups like Liberals/Conservatives - Republicans/Democrats. Do you think the majority just comes on to name call or are there really legitimate citizens that want to understand the country we live in and the views of our neighbors? The reason I ask is that many of the question(s) posed on here are from people that are simply looking for answers that corroborate the way they feel.......is this not a waste of what this forum could be?

S H I R A Z - I am a Republican so once again your wrong. But thank you for proving my point. It's hate filled morons like you that damage the intrgrity of this forum. My comments to you yesterday was just throwing your filth right back at you. Ofcourse you couldn't handle it. But when you don't have anything of importance to say that is what should be expected.

I agree wholeheartedly my friend. This little forum exemplifies and embodies what is happening in our country. We use political parties and other classifications to justify hate or dislike for one another. These things are no longer based on what matters such as the content of our opinions, personalities, or character. There should be more intelligent people like us who are perceptive enough to formulate legitimate claims as well as have a civilized, productive discussion.

I think there are many intelligent people on here that know better than to resort to name calling, but the majority are probably teenagers who do it for kicks.
I also agree that too many people ask questions that are just forms of looking to feel validated in their beliefs. The thing that really bothers me though, is that Americans aren't the only ones who use this forum, and even though we are just a small cross-section of this country, all the bickering and childishness reflects poorly on American citizens as a whole to people who aren't American and think this is how we really act.

Some need to work stuff out of their systems I guess but imo it takes a long time for that to happen much like the polishing of the rocks by the water while they lay down on a river bed.
