WASHINGTON - The U.S. government raised its threat warning to the highest level for commercial flights from Britain to the United States early Thursday in response to a terror plot uncovered in London. Multiple flights to multiple American cities were put on alert, a western counterrorism official said.
In addition to the highest alert for flights from Britain, the alert for all flights coming or going from the United States was also raised slightly. The government said it was banning beverages, hair gels and lotions from flights, explaining only that liquids emerged as a risk from the investigation in Britain.
"We believe that these arrests (in London) have significantly disrupted the threat, but we cannot be sure that the threat has been entirely eliminated or the plot completely thwarted," said Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff in announcing that the threat level for flights from Britain to the United States has been raised to the highest "severe or red" Level.

Every American politician who wants to be elected wants the best for his constituency ie.America.That is ruining the US name internationally to appease the electorate ie.oil as an example.See USA intervention to make money to enrich..http://academic.evergreen.edu/g/grossmaz/interventions.htl.Why all the fighting with othrers.Civil wars must be fought in countries without interference...like the civil war in the USA...Iraq has to do that...But why is the USA interefering in other countries.Allowing Nigerian corrupted government to stay so that oil can come to the USA.This is neo-cons work? Let's see, George needed to scare more people so he, Cheny, and Rice, oh and Tony Snow was in on it too... decided to blow up 20 airplanes over the Atlantic Ocean last night. I have noticed that so many different sides think they are the correct ones that nobody (governments, politicians, religious leaders) thinks that they are wrong.
I have noticed that by which media outlet (broadcast, cable, newspaper, internet) you watch you will get a different story. For example: I seen on American network T.V. that 2 americans were killed. On the internet I read (Australian news) that 2 Americans were killed and 22 Al Qeada were killed. That in itself shows truth but bias. If you do not give the whole story then why bring it up in the first place.

These people want nothing more than us (USA, Isreal, Western Societies) dead. If Isreal can not defend itself, then why or how exist. If the USA can not defend itself, then how can IT exist. At the same time if the Shiite can not defend himself how can they exist.

Your right to exist relies on your right to be human. If you feel that you are the one that is ALWAYS right, you are doomed.
