The root of all evil is George Bush... just kidding, but it is very close. Evil comes from the desire for competiton and violence in Human brains, which makes people like wars because of the excitement. Our "war president" is just more violent than others.

Wanting power to control people. Money is not the root of all evil. Look at Bill Gates and the amount of money he is spending on AIDS research. Money and greed can be good if it is used correctly through passion.

They day that money is the root of all evil. But it's the people and how they use that money which is the cause of evil. I think that some people are inherently evil Psychopathic killers who do not have a concience for example.
Cold blooded power hungry politicans who display all the charecteristics of the psycopatath, dirven , power mad, lack of concience etc..who do nothing to stop genicoide of innocent children when they have the power to. Who send working class men to war because they need canon fodder and in the case of the UK send them to war without proper ammunition or equipment to save their lives.
Psychos who seek employment as carers so as to abuse the elderly or children are pure evil and we read about them more and more.Cold blooded terrorists who kill and maim innocent civilians are evil. People who abuse children or animals are evil and as anti christ as some of our leaders are who make billions from their companies which profit from war like Haliburton for example.I think Cheney has an evil streak.
Soldiers who rape children and murder innocent civilians are evil such as the recent cases in Iraq. UN forces raping children and young women who are desperate casualties of the war in Darfur are pure evil.
But ultimately it is our politicans who have power, and control our taxes and direct it to weapons of destruction $425billion annualy) resulting in 100,000 and more deaths of civilians in Iraq and countless in Lebanon and more of us ordiary people who are targets as a result of their actions overseas, because they have a vested interest in the multi billion dollar arms industry and no regard for the subsequent loss of innocent lives. They I would say are the epitome of true evil and callous heartlessness.
