What is the policy of Cuba now,Communism or Capitalism?

Presently Castro is ruling Cuba.He was always an ardent supporter of soviet.What's his policy now?Is he still following communism?

He is still following his version of Communism and certainly Cuba hasn't transformed to market economy (Capitalist). You can say that Cuba is a communist country, though it doesn't follow every aspect of communist ideology.

Right now it would adventurous to say that cuba is communist country like the soviet union in the 60 or 70s. Internally there have been some changes allowing personal enterprise and many cubans do not work for the government. As for foreign direct invesment, they are open and willing to negotiate and allow capitalists to invest in cuba.
Actually no one country can say it is 100 % capitalist. All countries, to some degree have a welfare state and different degrees of socialist policies.
Honestly, cuba has a very centralized and restricted economy and it probably is the closest country in the world with north korea to a communist economy (which has never been a reality in any country; it is an utopy such as a completely free laizez faire capitalist economy).

Cuba is still a communist country. They mimic more of the soviet style than the chinese style. Isolationist policies have been a real burden to cuba. Opening up there markets to capitolism would be best for them. I believe the US would help them along.

Well Fidel is a communist but there is some limited private enterprise tolerated by the government. The word is Raul favours a Chinese style system with a capitalist economy but the communist party still in control.

Communism...and as long as Castro or his family (brother Raúl) are in command it will always be that way...
