your cheese done fell off your sandwich if you think inflation has anything to do with our President. I understand how it's cool to hate Bush, just like Nickelback, or the French, but you've really gotta start thinking for yourself. I'll tell you one thing though, gas would be alright (about 2.80 a gallon) had they used the right pipe in the Alaskan Pipeline instead of using something that would rust. It's simple economics really, a course which you should take in highschool. Pay attention, and you'll learn all about it.

Bush does not control the gas prices like most people think. OPEC does and when the barrel price for oil goes up, so does the price. HE could open up the reserve, but that could cause a real problem in the future if we do have a major shortage. What people don't understand is when gas stations raise their prices, it does not mean they are gouging for the gas they have already purchased. The problem is when they try to buy more gas. For example, if they try to make their profit margin on gas they bought for $2 a gallon and gas prices for the same gallon goes up $1, they have to charge more so they can continue to by more gas so they don't have a shortage. It's supply and demand.

I bet he's a good guy to his friends(Halliburton, Exxon Mobile and other gas companies). They've made more money under his administration than any other before him.
