Seriously, most people who ***** about politicians don't even know why. Stop following the herd and look into things first. This goes for all people republicans and democrats and anyone in between.

OK, here's my analysis. I was an international relations/ political science master's major from the University of Wisconsin for whatever that's worth. I don't think it will be a hit to the jugular for the enemy. It will cause brief chaos and a minor power struggle within Al-Qaeda but their overall battle plan will remain constant and unchanged. However, this will prove to be a badly needed morale boost for U.S. troops. And they will need this as many analysts fear that al-Qaeda will seek retribution. Tough weeks could follow. Maybe the toughest since Fallujah. But seeing today's headlines probably prompted many sighs of relief. That's for sure. Score one for the good guys. Also, the Taliban have sharply increased attacks in Afghanistan recently. Alot will be determined by the end of this year in a military sense. 2006 will be remembered as a make or break year in Bush's War On Terror (trademark symbol).

And if we are so loathed as some would say, why do we have the BEST universities, BEST hospitals, best INVENTIONS etc? We've only been around for a few hundred years, yet we've managed to be a world leader. If you are one who loathes America, look at what you are wearing, driving and oh yeah, what computer and internet are you using? What do you watch for movies? WE are the most charitable nation in the world. Tsunami/Typhoon/AIDS/earthquake/mudslide hits, call the US. Contrary to what the media says, we are NOT the leader in pollution and waste. Look at China, India, France, Eastern Europe. Who built the Panama Canal? Who SAVED EU's *** in 1917-18 and again in 1945. And if you can't understand because we ARE PROUD of our country, maybe you are jealous or can't understand how anyone can be proud of their country if they come from a crappy 3rd world hellhole they are ashamed of. I love this country and am proud of it. We've done alot of great things.

We went to Iraq because of "WMD" -- did you believe at that time that Bush was telling the truth? What do you believe now? Or did you ever believe he was telling the truth? One more question to add on.......how many terrorists did we catch in Iraq that had ANYTHING TO DO with 9/11??? I know Saddam was a bad bad man but there are many bad bad people and we can't take them ALL DOWN, right?

Is it really true that most countries get the leadership they deserve? Or is it a matter of getting imposed leadership? How can our countries truly develop if we get poor leadership or incompetent leaders who are illiterate of essential details on their countries, peoples, needs, as well as the development requirements for their neighbours?
