Who'll win?

As news of Mr. Zarqawi's death settled into homes across the country, Iraqis at lunch tables & in hot-afternoon living rooms found themselves wondering what, if anything, would be different. A relentless stream of killings and kidnappings has choked off the routines of life to a trickle, and the death of Mr. Zarqawi, while welcome, did not seem likely to stop the violence.

The painful, familiar beat resumed almost immediately. Five young women, one of them pregnant, were gunned down in a drive-by shooting outside a university, & SIX bombs, 4 of them in cars, killed 37 people and wounded 85 in largely Shiite areas in Baghdad.

Some Iraqis say the American military has exaggerated
Mr. Zarqawi's importance.

No doubt the feverish Neo-Con cheerleaders will pick the flesh off this for the next 6 months at least, highlighting it as a benchmark of the success of the war on Iraq, despite the fact that death rates are at an all time high. The bombings will continue unabated because phantom menace Al-Zarqawi was as much a ringleader for the insurgents as the tooth fairy was responsible for the fall of the Berlin wall.

The end of Al-Zarqawi should be a concern for all westerners because it can be added to the pile of evidence to suggest the men behind the curtain are creating a storyboard on which to later pin a staged terror attack blamed on Al-Qaeda and carried out supposedly in revenge for the elimination of Al-Zarqawi.

This development also increases that likelihood that the (also deceased) CIA pawn Osama bin Laden will be rolled out before the mid-term elections as the ever prevalent October surprise...

Under Saddam Hussein, about 30,000 deaths a year. Under George Bush, about 60,000 deaths a year. I don't get it. Why is it better to have George Bush the king of Iraq rather than Saddam Hussein?

How about this idea. Lower income tax to a very low level or no tax on it at all. Then increase sales tax to a higher level that would support the loss in income tax ( i don't know what percentage that would be you would have to do some major research, maybe a 20% - 25% sales tax ). I think that this could work becuase Americans in general, as major consumers, buy and buy and buy everything we want and more even if we don't need it. Things like ebay shows that we love to buy and sell. Also, the income tax right now is only hurting the lower income and middle income families (not the rich people becuase what do they care about a portion of their money going away when they still have hundreds of thousands left). Using this higher sales tax, wouldn't it help everyone, especially the poor, since they have learned the valuable lesson to only buy what one needs?

No way any tax on us is not a loss2 our economy. Why are so many brainwashed n2 taxes for our loss. Extra moneyn2 our economy is way better than the loss we have now!Everything now puts the whole cost on our backs. Why not put the cost on cheaters and illegals? This way is billions more n2 our economy and any tax on us is a dead loss for us. Plus all the paper work costs. There is no fair tax4 us. Taxes are only fair2 us if foreign tax cheats and illegal do the paying! Flat tax costs us& adds nothing2 our economy. Flat tax does nothing2 stop foreign tax cheats. Flat tax does nothing4 illegal off tax roles. Sales tax comes out of the economy& is aloss. The way I'm proposeing has no tax loopholes. All the illegals pay, all foriegn tax cheats pay. If the foreign goods do not sell4 retail&r discounted the tax@retail was still paid. We get dicounted goods& retail taxes. All this added money2 our economy. Any& all taxes on us r aloss. Everyone knows losses are not good. Only gains are good!

Lets admit it-I can get into a room the size of your garage and chain smoke a whole pack of cigarettes and I will walk out-But you-In Your Car will die in that same room in that same period of time-yet on the side of my pack of smokes is a Surgeon Generals Warning-and yet more people die each year from Auto Accidents than do people from 2nd Hand Smoke. Why is it fair that you critisize my smoke and yet you justify your polluting the air with considerably higher toxins based on the excuse "A Car is a necessity". Shouldn't there also be an emissions law for automobiles that also dwell out 2nd Hand Smoke? Recently The State of Washington joined several other states making it illegal to smoke in doors or within 25 feet of businesses-and yet I see cars pull up to a Drive Thru Window exposing the workers there to fuel exhaust and Carbon Monoxide-shouldn't these persons also be fined for THEIR 2nd Hand Smoke. Idiots need not respond and further I DON'T OWN A CAR-put this in your pipe and-

If the IRS changed 2 the Import Revenue Service& they opened every container from overseas(we need2 do this now4 terrorism,Gov's way costs, they pay here)&tax+10% everything n each container@ retail(this ends foreign co from cheating the US out of taxes owed they sell& buy back their goods in a foriegn country2 negate profit&taxes). Register illegals&get them all on tax role+10% that's the amount they pay above the US citizens tax rate. - all the paper work4IRS asit is now=the amount of spendable money US gov gets from US citizens. We need illegals on tax roles2 pay gen.X SS. Gen.X does'nt have numbers needed2 pay SS4 boomers& gen.X. All this would extra money in economy that does'nt exist now.Tax we pay now comes out of our economy& the tax money here is added2 our economy. Taxes become a double edge sword2 our economy.Taxes are2 our benifit not our loss, and all our paper work and expence for taxes disappears. This makes more work time4 us and we would have sooo! much more money& time.

Our kids "volunteer" because they're the poor lower-middle class of the nation, they know no other future, they're promised an EDUCATION,and they're seduced,do you really think that if most of them would do it all again if they were truely aware and educated about what they were headed for? Do any of you know were the Bin Ladens were on "911"? (GB's BUSINESS ASSOC.') and what did Iraq have to do with it? (remember the proof of WMDs)How many lies will it take for you Americans to wake up? Keep watching the news, keep believing the propaganda. I support my son, and the rest of my family thats over there. That doesn"t mean I support the war. I DON'T SUPPORT ANY WAR. And I don't care who hears me, I do believe besides being a mental midgit,GB is a liar, he's a businessman, who happens to be in the business of OIL, and he may be the anti-crist. So when will you "Americans" wake up and start thinking for yourselves?
