Why a Jew can grow his beard in order to practice his faith
But when Muslim does the same, he is an extremist, a fanatic
and a terrorist! Y?
Why a nun can be covered from head to toe in order to devote
herself to God
But when Muslimah does the same she is oppressed . Y?
When a western women stays at home to look after her house and
kids she is respected because of sacrificing herself(carreer)
and doing good for the household(devoted mother)?
But when a Muslim woman does so by her own free will, they say,
"she needs to be liberated"! Y?
Any girl can go to university wearing what she wills and have her
rights and freedom?
But when Muslimah wears a Hijab they prevent her from entering her
university! Y?
When a child dedicates himself to a subject he has potential.
But when he dedicates himself to Islam he is hopeless! Y?
When a Christian or a Jew kills someone religion is not mentioned,
but when Muslim is charged with a crime, it is Islam that goes to
trial! Y?
When someone sacrfices himself to keep others alive, he is noble and
all respect him.
But when a Palestinian does that to save his son from being killed,
his brother's arm being broken, his mother being raped, his home being
destroyed, and his mosque being violated -- He gets the title of a
terrorist! Why? Because he is a Muslim!
When there is a trouble we accept any solution? If the solution lies
in Islam, we refuse to take a look at it. Y?
When someone drives a perfect car in a bad way no one blames the car.
But when any Muslim makes a mistake or treats people in a bad manner -
people say "Islam is the reason"! Y?
Without looking to the traditions of Islam, people believe what the
newspapers say.
But the question is...
-> What does Quran say?
-> Did anybody disprove anything in Quran?
-> Could this be the work of an unlettered one or some superior intelligence??

I just got done listening to a radio show about how this senator Grimley(sorry if I misspelled the name) says that poor people statistically commit more crimes. No kidding. Ok, so now Grimley says that poverty-stricken people (income of less than $75,000 commit more crimes than people that make $300,000). Isn't that kind of a condescending elitist view of middle/lower income earners? Not everybody is wealthy, and where I'm from I think that $35,000 is close to the state average income.. Your thoughts plz...

I am the man who wrote a letter to President Nixon for this soldier who was from Greenville, Mississippi, since he knew I wrote poetry. He was killed in Loc Ninh, Vietnam on the twelfth, thirteenth, or the fourteenth of September of 1968. I am sure the family would like to have some closure; I am also sure the story I carry is not the same as the army version. It was obvious the upper echelon of the First Infantry Division was unhappy about the letter to President Nixon. But, there is even more to the story.

All soldiers that enlist in the Army have a contract and that contract has an effective date of when it begins and ends. In order to stay in the Army you re-enlist to stay longer, like a contract renewal. Before the War in Iraq if you didn't reenlist you would transition out of the Army and be welcomed into civilian life. Now that soldiers aree being stretched so thin that it is not uncommon to meet a soldier that hast spent 2-3 years in one of America's war zones enlistment and reenlistment numbers aren't what they used to be. In order to maintain oue fighting strength the Department of the Army gave the "green light" for commanders to keep soldiers who choose not to renew thier contracts past thier contractual end date so they can deploy.
