Not really, but he was allowed to travel through Germany during WWI to go from exile back to Russia, because the Germans knew he would cause Russia to disintegrate. There was revolution going on, and there were various unions or soviets trying to piece together a reasonable system when Lenin came and took it all the way left.

But he didn't get help that I know of.

Germany snuck Lenin in because they knew he would cause trouble and thereby assure that Russia would not be a burden to germany and force them to fight a 2 front war. However, militarily the only time Germany had anything to do with Russia was when they were; a. freezing their asses on russian soil or b. getting their butts kicked and outnumbered by russians

No. Lennin was unheard of until he took power many years after the re-volution.
