Lately I've been thinking they should be called the hypercritical party. They don't have any ideas themselves but nothing the other side does is ever right.
But they do seem somewhat hypocritical. They quickly jump all over Republicans when there's a Republican possible ethics violation. But they are very slow to chastize one of their own.
I'd be a lot more in favor if Democrats if they would clean the weeds out of their garden BEOFRE they go pointing out the weeds in the Republican garden.

Bush claims to be a Christian, but he sent thousands off to die in a war that was based on a lie. And not only that, but he obviously stole the election in 2000. In case you have forgotten, the Ten Commandments forbid us murder, steal, and lie. So, who's the hypocrite?

Since the terms are already synonymous, I'm not sure there would be a point to that. Besides, can you imagine how hard it would be for all of them to learn to spell a new word?
