They are not looking in the right place's they should go to North Korea, they might find some there. Iraq didn't have any, it was just an excuse for Bush to take us to war.

I believe they have stopped looking for WMD. And they accepted the fact there were no WMD in Iraq at the time we went in. What's you point? About 95% of the world thought Saddam had WMD including Saddam. And his scientists weren't about to set him straight for fear of loosing their heads.
As to why troops are still there. When Saddam's crew went down it left a power vacuume. The Iraqis couldn't get their act together and terrorists starting setting off bombs and haven't quit. Why don't you just go over there and talk them into stopping so our troops and come home and live happily ever after.

If you notice, no one has mentioned WMDs for a while in the media-because either there was none or they were moved. Our troops are over there now supposedly to help Iraq build a democratic government.

Sorry, Paco, but there were WMD, and WMD have been found.
Read the recap of the UN Special Commission, which had the Inspectors in Iraq to oversee the destruction of the WMD that Iraq had declared - including chemical and biological weapons.
Does it bother you people to be so ill-informed and gullible to leftist propaganda?

They need to look in countries like Iran or Syria...that is where they were likely sent to. I have no doubts that Iraq had WMD's (maybe not nuclear but chemical and biological) but the fact that we basically told the world we were going into Iraq well before we actually did, gave them time to either move or destroy any that they had. If I am going to punch you, I will have alot better chance of hitting you if I don't tell you I am going to do it before I swing.

You ask "Why are they still there?" ?
Ever heard of a rowdy little group of boys called al-Quaeda?
Ever heard of a guy named Abu Musab al-Zarqawi?
How about the World Trade Center, and the Pentagon, Sept. 11, 2001? Flight 93? Nick Berg? Ken Bigley?
Osama bin Laden ring a bell?

From all I have read, there were WMD there. God knows we gave Hussein enough time to get them out of the country. We told them two months or more that we were invading by a a certain date. That gave them enough time to get them out of their country. I agree with turboweegie 100%. He gives great answers!

At one time they used them bet they were shipped to another country. Almost all the intelligence agencies agreed they had them.
(including foreign ones) Some of the ex generals in the Iraq army say that they had them.

They are either in Iran or at the bottom of the Tigris or Euphrates rivers.
