count elites among yourselves.
Judging from these questions and answers, only a handful of you possess a degree of historical literacy.
This makes the learned of you seem even wiser.
That's one of the differences between dems and cons; we {cons} can admit our shortcomings, but you will take your failures to the grave.

I'm a not what you'd call an "educated" man.

See how easy that is dems.
Now why can't you apply this skill when you consider Bill and Hillary?

Lets canvas everyone for issues and proposed solutions, shall we? Let's build a true democracy? Lets get these issues and solutions voted on right here! Then lets elect from best questions and answers the people we think should be our elected representatives in government and hold them to the solutions we elected them to fulfill? Sound like a plan?

Congress and Senate?

He looks like a schoolboy who just spent time in the corner with a dunce cap. His weasel-like personality traits have been transparent throughout his Residency. He's a beaten man and he knows it !! Telling the American people that he is looking forward to a new Bi-partisan relationship with the Dems makes him seem like a bully that just got whooped by the little guy. Firing Rumsfeld was his first admission of being wrong about something since he took office and was a good start to showing positive leadership. Will see how good of a President he can really be--it's just too bad that he will have to be force fed a progressive agenda like a sick child swallowing castor oil!! Will he step up and break away from his radical religious, anti-American, pro-business, self-serving stances or will decency and mainstream values run the table?

yesterday's vote: all the fake conservatives are gone. Been voted away. Seems the people had enough of supposed fiscal conservatives spending money like an F. Scott Fitzgerald character.

I really don't need to delve into the party's ethical transgressions as there are just as many on the Dem side, but personally, Randal Cunningham broke my heart: The man is a true American hero that went astray.

Now the Republican party has been thinned down to those that truly support conservative ideals. I realize these words aren't much consolation, but they are true.

Am I alone praying the democratic leadership will look past their personal rivalries and vendettas to focus on national security?

Please no answers like, "well whatever it is it'll be better than Republicans." I'm serious, I would really like to know. Oh by the way, cutting and running will embolden terrorist organizations to think that America is weak and increase the chance that we get hit here. Also, that will pretty much hand over a whole country for terrorists to take over (fortunately most of the dems elected to Congress understand that too). OK, so now what? Any real answers?

Since they've been in charge they haven't done anything to help solve the situation in Iraq or Afghanistan. How much longer must the American people wait for action from our elected officials? I for one am disgusted, next election I'm voting republican, atleast they'll straighten out this whole mess.
