I am very excited. I had my doubts that it would happen. We NEED checks and balances in our system. That is why all the thought went into creating the system we have by our forefathers. It insures us against an individual controlling too much power.

I have to admit, I was skeptical as to whether the change would actually take place. After the 2000 and 2004 elections I expected the worst. It's given me back some of the trust I had lost in our system.

I'm cautiously optimistic. It's not enough just to say we don't buy into the right wingers narrow minded idiocy--it's time to DO SOMETHING PRODUCTIVE!

I got my fingers crossed. And for God's sake stay out of the scandals---look at all the self righteous bas*ards from the right and Bill Clinton (great man but tainted legacy) and learn something.
