Since Tuesday when the democrats won both houses of congress I have locked myself in my house because the terrorists are coming. I know as soon as I go out the terrorists are going to kill me now because I no longer have my big tough republicans to protect me. I can't even go out to get food or anything what should I do? Do you think the drug dealers and criminals on my street will help protect me now?

I always had reservations about Hillary, but now, when I think about the sweeping changes that are already occurring, I picture Hillary being a major mover- and -shaker. How do you feel?

It really peeves me off that the government complains it has no money to fix roads etc,yet we have thousands of people too lay to get their behinds to get a job. Why can't the governemnt make them work in order to receive a cheque every month. I don't care if they walk the streets picking up garbage or mowing lawns. Make them work like the rest of us do. This way the government has more money to put where it is needed. It is bad enough they get full medical and dental coverage. People who own a small business have to pay for all their own medical and dental.
Do you agree or disagree??????

Pulling out now would have a devastating effect on our country, rendering Iraq defenseless against becoming a terrorist state. A country with the resources that Iraq has would become a base for terrorists worldwide. The question is, can and will the Democrats pullout before we have finished?

I like most democratic ideas, and I don't see why they are so hated from certain people. I really don't get the venom. Yes having an opinoin is fair, but geez. Do people really hate other people because of their opinion or are people not being as serious as I think.

Since the 1980's the United States has cut back on the amount of foreign aid given. In a recent year the amount the U.S. gave in aid equaled 0.21% of the national income. This means that if the U.S. income equaled 100 dollars for this year, 21 cents would have been given in foreign aid. On Average, countries that gave foreign aid in that same year gave 0.36% of their national incomes.
Do you think that the U.S. government should continue granting foreign aid at current levels, increase the amount,or stop giving aid altogether?if youthink the U.S. should continue giving aid at current levels, name one program, institution or country that should receive part of the aid and why.if you think the U.S should increase foreign aid, how do you think the increased aid should spend and why?

A statement purportedly from the leader of al-Qaeda in Iraq hails the defeat of Republicans in the US mid-term polls.

The Democrats' victory in Tuesday's Congressional elections was a move in the right direction, the speaker said.
