Which amendment puts the president and vice president on the same ticket???

There is no amendment that does that but the 12th amendment gave us distinct elections for President and Vice-President. Prior to that the winner in the Electoral College became President and the runner-up became VP. In 1800, Thomas Jefferson and Aaron Burr ended up with 73 votes each and it took 36 votes in the House of Representatives to elect Jefferson.

It is conceivable that someone running for President without a running mate would end up with a VP who is not of the same party, but the chances of this happening are remote.

None. Ammendments are rights, like the right to free speech, free religion. Prez & VP on same ticket is a law.
