So often on this forum, I see questions that are obviously right out of a history or gov't textbook (some, I think from mine 20 years ago!). I think it's great that kids these days have the Internet as a resource for knowledge, but does it seem weird that the can just get on Y!A and have someone directly answer their homework for them? I, for one, learned it by actually looking it up!

Don't misunderstand. I'm not judging those who post their homework questions or those who answer them. Ask and answer away...I just wonder how getting the info given directly to them without any research is a good thing. Any opinions?

What about required breaks and lunch periods? (most states have no requirements on this)
What about limited number of daily worked hours? (no limits on this)
What about higher pay if you do not wish to receive health ins. or retirement benefits? (this saves the employer a lot of money if you don't take them)
What about a law against hiring new hires for the same positions as long term employees, then turning around and laying the long term ones off because they get paid more? (they do it all the time)
What about requirements to sign sheets against unions in order to get hired? (this should not be legal)
What about firing someone because of "heresay" or tattletales, but no real evidence? (they do this all the time too)
Workers need more protection! They keep the businesses going, they are the only way the companies can survive, but are treated like basic trash.

NASA can't manage to get a single vehicle into space without dropping a hundred tons of metal to be burned in the atmosphere, not to mention the countless times they seem to break something on the shuttle itself. Not only that, everytime a project begins that will improve and save money, it gets canceled.

Yet a private company sends a ship into space without losing so much as one speck of building material, then the entire ship, including the launch system returns to the ground un-scathed. It doesn't even have to go through the atmospheric burn that NASA still hasn't seemed to figure a way around.

This is where hundreds of billions of our tax dollars are going. They over spend, under budget, pay little tribute to advancement, and WASTE WASTE WASTE!

When will we vote to sell NASA to the private sector and begin making faster advancements?

The US mint said that it cost more to make a penny than its worth, so why don't we just make it worth two cents. The only change that you could not make is one cent or three cents. If your change is one or three just round up a penny.
