This is hard to answer because you have to think of all the things Bush has got us into but
Al Qaeda is also made us a lot of enemies by attacking people who can't defend there selves and they claim the policy Bush uses has caused the Al Qaeda to become larger and more aggressive with all countries who are not there friends. The lion sleeps until they are awakened.
lets hope we can keep him asleep.

I would say Al-Qaeda has provoked Bush into turning more of our friends into enemies than Al-Qaeda has made for us. The people and/or countries that support Al-Qaeda hated us already--they just hate us more now than before. But our "over-strenuous" efforts to get back at Al-Qaeda have alienated countries that used to respect us.

That all depends on the view. In mine the whole world is afraid of Al Qaeda or thinks that they can be negotiated with, or is using the oppurtunity to cause damage to the US. So while it may be seen as the US is getting more enemies, You are in effect seeing who the real friends always were.

Bush hasn't made anybody our enemies. The people who joined Al-Qaida and other terrorist groups using Iraq as an excuse, also used the Camp David Peace Accords of 1978 to join terrorist groups in the Middle East, and even assasinated Anwar Sadat. Should we accuse Carter of creating terrorism? I don't think so.

Standing up for yourself will always angers some people. But it will usually anger those who are already at least somewhat disposed against you. During the first years of the American civil liberties fights more people joined the KKK. Does that mean that we should never stand up for ourselves?
