"Sealand" is the smallest country in the world - a former sea-based anti-aircraft platform off the coast of England, and a declared "principality" (Hello Sealand!). Sealand is not recognized as a country by the U.K., but it has a mailing address in the U.K. Does the United States recognize Sealand as a country, and if so, could I become the U.S. ambassador to Sealand? Do any countries recognize Sealand as a country? Are there any ambassadors to Sealand from any country? Thanks to all who answer - I'm very curious about this.

When the president travels to a foreign country, does he need a visa and does he go through visa check and customs like ordinary people? How and where (onboard Air Force One?) does this take place? If a foreign head of the state is visiting the States, what's the protocol for visa and custom clearance?
Typically all we get to see is them welcomed by the counterparts in the host government and driven straight to the presidential house/office or a retreat.
