I know it is unpopular to say but I want to leave. My social beliefs and background do not suggest that I have a bright future here. I don't particularly like the American way and understand that we are becoming a communist nation (in the name of Jesus). How do I convince a European nation or even Canada to give me a chance to live and work there?

I am interested in pursuing a job as a Foreign Service Officer with the US embassy. I am wondering what the success rate is with applicants? I know I have nothing to lose by trying, but am aware the employment process is a long one. Another concern I have is that I had a previous credit problem but settled it. I am wondering if this showed up in a background check, if this alone would prevent me from getting hired?

I would be interested in hearing from a Foreign service officer (or previous ones) regarding their experience on the job as well as their experience taking the test.

Earlier the PA dates used to be 4 or 6 months from current date. However, I heard that in recent days PA dates are available very easily. Could you please provide inputs on the same.
