I have serious doubts about Hillary Clinton's abiltiy to be our next president. She couldn't even run her own household, how can I trust her to run the counrty?

The answer is Hillary Rodham Clinton in a speech to the Council on Foreign Relations in New York. She also stated ''We have no option but to stay involved and committed'' in Iraq and called her vote to authorize the war "One that I stand by." She basically echoed Bush's position on the war all the way until 2005 and only stopped when it was no longer politically feasible. THOUSANDS of soldiers have now died because of her and she simply cannot be trusted with the presidency. Integrity is FAR MORE important than experience and like Bush and Cheney, she has very little. Why in the world would you vote for someone who puts her own ambition ahead of the country's best interests? Vote for Barack Obama who's been against this stupid war from the start. He may not have as much experience but he more than makes up for it with INTEGRITY.

How come no one is wondering if obama is like the real life manchurian candidate..an extreme islamic terrorist in this case who has been groomed and groomed again to be the perfect President, only to be harboring fundamentalist islmic views to be unleashed on the unsuspecting population. How in God's name has so much attention been given to Romney's religion without even mentioning that Obama converted from Islam to Christianity like the day before he decided to run for office?????????????

Seriously, I have no "land line". The only people I know of that do are folks like my parents, who have simply had the same number for 40 years. I know hardly anyone under 40 does. It is just a silly expense when you have the cell phone... Point is, unless I am mistaken the numbers these poll people call are all from public directories, which means they are only calling the people with land lines. And that would make the poll more than invalid. If that is the case it would be horribly manipulative to present these results as an accurate representation the populace. Propaganda even. Please enlighten me.

What if USA crosses over into deep recession as the dollar falls and interest rises, do you know how mildly or powerfully that will affect your buying power and worth?

I suspect the person they decide to be President may hurt me. Unless you are on life support in an intensive care unit is should matter.

since we the citizens here in the U.S. arent the ones that actually vote in the new president (the electorial congress does that- and they dont HAVE to vote the way their division does) does every citizen's vote actually count like all the celebrities say?
i mean, we know from recent experience that you can win the popular vote (the citizens) and still lose the election.

am i missing something? this is how it was explained to me.

and why cant we have a direct democracy?!? i understand that long ago it would have been to hard to count that many ballots, but we use computers now, surely it would be more democratic?

GENDER: By far, the vast majority of Hillary's voters are women, of any race.
RACE: The only reason many whites won't vote for Obama, is because he is not white.
RELIGION. Most of Huckabee's (and republican in general) followers are religion fanatics, specifically Christians, who have no problem mixing politic and economic issues with religion. Huckabee's last campaign message is 100% religion-related, he talks only about celebrating Christmas, AS IF everybody in the US were 1) Religious and 2) Christian.

I'm a white Catholic, but I completely disagree with mixing religion with politics. I also disagree with ignorance-based, bias voting (women voting for a woman, just because she is of their gender; EVEN THOUGH THEY DON'T LIKE HER, AS MOST PEOPLE); whites voting for whites only, EVEN THOUGH THEY MAY ACKNOWLEDGE A PERSON OF COLOR IS BETTER SUITED FOR THE JOB, etc.

Setting myself for a lot of attacks here but:
Why is it that every Ivy league school plus U of Chicago, Stanford Cal, etc. are in blue states? LA, NY and Chitown are in blue states? I won't get into the culture issue, either. I don't want to get into Dem vs. GOP here b/c I actually consider myself a fiscal Republican and a social Dem. But looking at the blue and red map is kind of telling. I won't name specific states but... is the rest of the country pointing their finger in their general direction and weakly asking, "Come on! I mean, really?"
