No one is gonna be influenced by Liberman's opinion on anything. The guy was abandoned by his own party..and he only wants a pay back by turning against to endorse a Democrat.

I think it shows that John McCain has support from across the spectrum and it shows that even in the primaries he is reaching out to all voters instead of just the Conservative voters. An endorsement from Lieberman is a symbol of McCains ability as a bipartisan leader.

Everyone argues there is not enough concensus in American poltics among the Republicans and Democrats, and for the the first time a prominent Republican is being endorsed by a prominent Democrat for the presidency. Its a great sign that America is moving towards accomplishing the goals in front of us instead of worrying about the partisan bickering.

I have come to like and respect Joe Lieberman over the past few years.

Had the Gore camp done a better job showing this guys strengths and character, Gore might have won in 2000.

As far as endorsing McCain, even though they don't share a common ideology, they are both upstanding men and respect each other.

This endorsement should tell you oodles about the joke that the Dems are putting out in front of us for canidates.

I'm not too impressed by who endorses who. I think that endorsements count for too much in the public eye. Hey, my Senator likes that candidate, so I'll vote for him. Or, even better, my union TOLD me to vote for this person! To some, it matters, to me it most definitely does not.

As far as Lieberman endorsing McCain, I don't think it will help him too much. As far as sending a message to the Left, it's a he*ll of a message that an Independent who traditionally votes Democrat has changed his mind.

I remember when Lieberman had the vice president elect debate with Cheney and everyone was talking about how they liked them better than the Presidential choices. So if nothing else Lieberman is a likable guy. And besides that you really have to have a pair to stand by yourself for an unpopular war as a democrat.

Dont care who endorses who. i endorse who i agree with and not someone who is a "frontrunner", as the media claims, even though he raised 6 mil in one day. can you guess who that is?

I like it very much.

I wish those two would run on a bipartisan ticket for president.

I'd vote for them!!

It doesn't mean anything to me. I don't think that Lieberman is too credible, either.
