I am the one who upholds and takes advantage of the freedoms that our fore fathers set down for us. You probably can't even name the all five freedoms layed out in the first amendment. I'll refresh, speech, assembly, religion, press, and petition. I speak what and when i feel like. I am jewish and let me tell you right wing christians sure dont like that. I have participated in protests, wrote letters to the editor and you tell me that I am the one who hates america. you are the one who is trying to take away my rights. you are the ones who hate america you are the ones ruining the ideals that this country were founded upon and you should all be ashmed.

I want to move to an island.

Only people with an I.Q. over 130 are invited. We would establish a new form of meritocracy. Three branches of government where representatives would be appointed based on their ability to make logical decisions; laws would be based on their benefit to society using statistical analysis and trial programs.

The economic system would be a social market economy. There would be a minimum and maximum wage; minimal health care would be free for everyone; the tax system would be simplified; balanced budget would be mandatory except in war time; war would only be declared upon a direct attack, invasion or eminent invasion; we would care about our environment; our prison system would be simplified; average citizens would be able to read and understand our laws; higher education would be free.

By term, public defenders help out the community in legal advice. Usually those who seek the help of a public defender are people who are financially unstable. But, I heard from a friend who recently had a criminal case, that his public defender charged him $400.00 at the end of trial.
Is this true in Florida? I thought p.d.'s were free of charge?

Is Israel a true democracy? How is life different in Israel for Jews and non jews? I teach college courses in state correctional facilities. A student posed this question to me. I know that people with felonies are not allowed to become attorneys in some states, but I don't know if the restriction applies to all states. Thanks.

live abetter quality of life? For example, it is very easy to afford a gardener, maid, choffer, and still make it with one parent working. Maybe this is why Mexicans are know to have good family values and education because their mothers have more quality time to raise them. Now these labor workers that I just mentioned, are hard working individuals that get paid a lot more than they do in Mexico. That is why they are the ones coming in to this country, not the middle or high class citizens. So for all you arrogant people here does it make sense now why the Mexican gov. even gives them a "how to booklet" on immigrating to the neighboring country?
