live abetter quality of life? For example, it is very easy to afford a gardener, maid, choffer, and still make it with one parent working. Maybe this is why Mexicans are know to have good family values and education because their mothers have more quality time to raise them. Now these labor workers that I just mentioned, are hard working individuals that get paid a lot more than they do in Mexico. That is why they are the ones coming in to this country, not the middle or high class citizens. So for all you arrogant people here does it make sense now why the Mexican gov. even gives them a "how to booklet" on immigrating to the neighboring country?

Zoe, Im not surprised again by your bitter ignorance here. Did you know that when someone asks a question you are supposed to give an awnser? You dont get 2 pts. for asking 10 questions instead of awnsering. Or maybe is it that your brain is so limited to giving educated awnsers. About Angela, she lives in the U.S. not Mexico. Read the question once again, maybe youll get it after the 100th time.

Chicago, not to be mean or anything but you didnt read my question right. As amatter of fact you are the perfect example of my point. You made $50.00 a week and you came here to the U.S. to make obviously more money right? Exactly, thats what people make as maids and choffeurs, etc. etc. Good for you that you are becoming a legal citizen.

Dan B, read the question again and again, youll get it.

I am amazed, seeing the answers around, that many are way misinformed about the way Latin American people live in general. Many think we still hunt our food :)
I got a meeting at my children school months ago, and we were told in fact that many USA psychologist had already realized what you are saying about parenthood, hence, studying about how is that some Latin families that have moved to USA have kept the family values in their children.
There is true that in USA people is better paid than in Latin America, I am middle class and I know that I'd made there 500% more than what I got paid here. And those who are desperate to emigrate might also have poor or none education, causing the problem that Americans complain about very often.

Whatsoever, when American citizen came to work here, they are better paid as well, and many steal our jobs. So, it might be even in a way.

Alberto my man, let me say, you are sooo, mistaken, I don't know what place in Mexico you r talking about. I lived and worked in Mexico for 6 years( yes I am Mexican too), and I only made 50 dls. a week, as did most other working class people I knew at the time, and I sure as hell could not afford a gardener, maid, or chauffeur, be reasonable, if that were all true I would be in Mexico right now with my friends and loved ones as would be most of us Mexicans here, I am not here because I want to admire the glory of the U.S., I am here because of the many opportunities. And just so u other guys know, yes I came here as a *******, when I was 6, and from the moment I started working I ALWAYS paid my taxes, I bought my own home and paid even more taxes, I am legal now and waiting to become an American citizen. Don't hate, life is too short!

Oh, It's you AGAIN Alberto! You always like to get things going don't you? Well I suppose you serve a purpose, if the racist white gringo Klansmen weren't bashing YOU they'd be after the Muslims, Blacks, Asians, Arabs or Jews instead......

It stuns me when the stupid, the uneducated spew their ignorance all over the net instead of simply checking their facts. Of course Mexico has a huge (and growing) middle class (around 25-30% of the population). Of course they are NOT as rich as the US's middle class, they are "middle class" according to the international and UN norms, not those artificial ones of the United States.

(NOTE: You don't NEED an extra 20,000 a year to throw down the toilet on pure materialist junk as you gringos do in order to be "middle class.")

To the guy who claimed he lived in Mexico for 6 years and then proceeded to spew all the false information: a) living here in the 70s or 80s is NOT today's Mexico; or b) lying about living in Mexico is just silly; or c) living above a drunken whorehouse in Tijuana doesn't count!

What does corrupt police might desire to do with the existance of a center classification in Mexico and tv exhibits. awaken human beings and study the questions. there's a center classification ... and there is numerous poverty. i might recommend you study the background of Mexico in case you fairly should have an theory of what's occurring. No undemanding solutions for this one!

If they can live such a Good life there then MAYBE they all should stay there. Apparently the Mexico you describe either only exsists in your mind or better than half of Mexican citizens would rather work for SLAVE wages in the US than to Live the HIGH life in Old Mexico.

Yeah, I know, never mind that little pesky tax hike of 127 billion or event he mere 32 billion dollar one. I know its not as much as the cost of "that war" I'm sure you hate...but in all seriousness please, YOU give them this better way of life...I think when people file their taxes there should be a little box for people like you to check so that YOU can support them since you want to do it so bad.
