Well...let's see:
American Revolution...started by conservative founding fathers, who are nowadays considered by liberals to be "dead white males"...gained our independence. Definitely NOT a disaster.

Mexican War...started by Democrats, so not really applicable to your question. Was not a disaster, however...Texas allowed to join US (which all Texans wanted) despite Mexico's opposition. (Texas had gained independence from Mexico a decade earlier, so it's hard to see what business it was of theirs...but that's Mexicans for ya.) US also gained territory...again, NOT a disaster.

Civil War...started by Republican President, who...despite much opposition from Democrats..."stayed the course" and prevented the nation from splitting up. Definitely NOT a disaster.

Spanish-American War...waged under Replubican President...ended Spanish atrocities against native populations in Cuba, Puerto Rico, and Phillipines. Led to eventual independence for both Cuba and the Phillipines, and protectorate status for Puerto Rico. (Puerto Ricans have voted against complete independence four times.) Definitely NOT a disaster.

World War I...waged under a Democrat, so again...not applicable to your question. Ended German atrocities against US shipping (German navy had sunk many more ships than just the "Lusitania", and promised unrestricted warfare against all US shipping.) Wasn't a complete success...hence WWII a few years later...but would not call it a disaster.

World War II...waged under a Democrat, the absolute epitome of a liberal...who tried to "stack" the supreme court so it would say that the law means what he WANTED it to mean. (Sounds awfully familiar...) Freed Europe from Hitler, so definitely not a disaster.

Korean War...begun under a Democrat, then finished under a Republican. Democrat Truman would probably be kicked out of the party in disgrace nowadays...he authorized use of the atomic bomb, recognized Israel, and authorized the Berlin Airlift. Korean War was hardly his fault...North Korea (under China's thumb) attacked first. Republican Eisenhower forced an end to the war by threatening to go nuclear on China. South Korea gained its independence, and Red China was put in their place...so hardly a disaster, whoever you want to credit it to.

Vietnam...begun under a Democrat, and escalated under another Democrat when the original was assassinated. Basically, accomplished nothing...a disaster.

Gulf War...waged under a Republican. Freed Kuwait from Saddam Hussein's brutal sneak attack. US should have rolled up into Iraq right then and there...overthrew the government and gave Saddam to the Kuwaiti's...let them try him and execute him. Woulda sure eliminated a lot of problems yet to come...GOT to be a lesson there somewhere. Not a disaster, but not a complete success...left too much yet undone.

Iraq...waged under Republican, with tremendous opposition from all the liberal giggle-sissies because they HATE the President, and they don't want to see him succeed...even if it hurts the US.
Outcome unclear...looking like it'll be a disaster.

Let's tally up:
Conservative/Republican wars...6
Successes...4
Partial Success/Outcome in Doubt...2

Liberal/Democrat wars...5
Successes...3
Partial Success/Outcome in Doubt...1
Absolute Failure...1

Make of it what you will...

The suitable court docket does not make the regulations, it interprets the regulation and contraptions precedent yet does not make regulations. easily a extra useful thank you to describe the suitable Courts determination became it governed against the practice of allowing opposite discrimination. this could be seen a extra conservative vote, using fact the liberals have self belief there is discrimination against in elementary terms minorities. Which by using the way Obama's %. for the suitable court docket governed in opposition to the present ruling from the suitable court docket. If we had to deal with that some years of liberal policies this united states of america could be bankrupt.

The big ones...
WWI, Wilson - D
WWII, FDR - D
Korea, Truman - D, not yet ended, but is a disaster
Vietnam, Kennedy - D, disaster
Gulf 1, Bush (Sr) - R, not yet ended
Afghan, Bush (Jr) - R, not yet ended [in disaster]
Gulf 2, Bush (Jr) - R not yet ended [in disaster]

Of those that have ended, I count 1 that we chalk up to Democrats.

Well, let's see, are you a slave or free? If you're free, you owe it to a conservative war.
