I want to move to an island.

Only people with an I.Q. over 130 are invited. We would establish a new form of meritocracy. Three branches of government where representatives would be appointed based on their ability to make logical decisions; laws would be based on their benefit to society using statistical analysis and trial programs.

The economic system would be a social market economy. There would be a minimum and maximum wage; minimal health care would be free for everyone; the tax system would be simplified; balanced budget would be mandatory except in war time; war would only be declared upon a direct attack, invasion or eminent invasion; we would care about our environment; our prison system would be simplified; average citizens would be able to read and understand our laws; higher education would be free.

Do you want to come?

... I'm not big on it... your catering basically to those that do well on I.Q. tests... and picking government officals based on those that do well on tests... there is more to leadership than tests and programs...

I don't mind your economic policies as much, but it's still more extreme than I would like... I like a little more open flexability...

yes, sounds groovy...but a lot of ideas look good on paper and in theory. in reality your ideal state will become corrupted just like all other proposed ideal social theories of state like socialism, democracy or whatever you want to call them! i.e. the former soviet union and the current direction u.s.a is heading towards

Well, at least you're acknowledging that the only place better than being here in the U.S. is one that you have to "create".

No way in hell. I'd rather be in Mensa with all the intellectuals and that's like hell too.
