all she does is eat and then sleep for the rest of the day. She gets a bit energetic after she wakes up though but it doesnt last for long. is that normal?

I have a small dog - chihuahua/daschund. Recently I noticed he was scratching a lot. Of course, fleas. I gave him a good flea bath and I think I have it under control, but...

he constantly nibbles on the top of his backside. It's like he is scratching with his teeth, I guess. He is starting to loose hair in that spot and the skin looks very tender with some small scabs.

What can I do to get him to stop doing this to himself?

Beside school, homework, and chores I have to do to get $ for my horse so i can feed him, I really don't have alot of time to spend w/my horse. Before school, it's to dark to play w/him (I have no barn). Then after schooll it's about 6:30 after homework, dinner, etc. Then I'm so tired I just wanna fall asleep, then I'll take my shower and go to bed. I'm so sick of not having any time with him!!!!! The only time I get to ride him is on the weekends, (but sometimes I don't, cause I'm so pooped I'll just sleep the whole Saturday, then sunday is church and "family day"!!!!! lol Any suggestions of what I should do, school always gets in the way!!!!!!! :(

my cat is drooling and acting funny. she is hiding under the bed and she never does that. she wont even play with her laser pointer!! my wife put some flea spray on her ealier today. should i take her to the vet!!?? is this a bad thing!!?? or should i keep an eye on her all day? she has also thrown up too!
