we called the vet and he said to call the company asap to get the anticdote. so we called the number on the bottle.... the lady said the same thing happend to her cat. its called natural chemistry de-flea. nothing with poison in it. she said to flush her mouth out and give her a bath. shes better now! still drooling. she said her tongue is sore.... like if us humans would eat a whole pineapple our tongues would be sore. thats why shes droling. her tummy is sore cause it has laxitive in it for the fleas to explode. she has gotten too much in her tummy. just like if humans were to take too much... our tummys would be sore too! my poor baby! scarred the crap outta me!!!

Yes, please take your cat to the vet IMMEDIATELY. Bring the bottle of flea spray with you. It sounds like your cat could be having a reaction to the flea spray, which could potentially be very serious.

Yes, I think you should take her to a vet. ALWAYS be concerned if an animal has any funny reactions after applying medication, especially if it's flea spray from a store, because these are often toxic to cats. Stick with veterinary flea treatments in future.

flea spray is a pesticide and is poisonous. your cat might have licked the at the flea spray. i would definitely call your vet and ask if they think you should bring the cat in. in the meantime try rinsing the cats mouth out with water. sounds like you cat might have some sort of poisoning.

YES, take her to the vet - sounds like a reaction to the flea spray. This could be serious.
If you can't get her to the vet immediately, try to rinse off the spray with warm water. Then get her to the vet asap.

Sounds like it is lethargic. A lot of cats are allergic to the formulas in flea sprays. If you can, try to catch her and give her a bath to get the spray off.
