2-3 month old puppies, are just like human babies that age. They eat, play for a while and sleep most of the day! It's normal and nothing to worry about.

Where did you get such a young puppy? The dog is not even supposed to be weaned off it's mother's milk yet and definitely not away from the mother. You need to return it back to the mother and then it can begin weaning off and around 6 weeks of age it should be eating semi-solid food and by 8 weeks AT THE EARLIEST it can be taken away from the mother. You need to report the person you got the dog from because it's illegal in many states to take a puppy away from it's mother before 6 weeks of age. Also, they will sleep quite a bit but should be pretty playful at times also. You need to have it evaluated by a vet immediately since it was taken away from the mother far too early.

Definitely. My puppy is 4 months and she has days where she is all energy and others where all she wants to do is sleep. I have found that if she is too highly stimulated some days by lots of visits from people, I really need to crate her for awhile periodically throughout the day to make sure she gets her sleep. Otherwise she gets nippy by evening.

Extremely normal... you should really treasure this time while you can because as she gets older (by older i mean 8-12 months) she'll be a hell of alot more active and sleeping a hell of alot less. An active dog is a fun one but when you're inside and you dont want to play it can get frustrating.

YES very normal. Like a baby- sleep, eat, play, poop and sleep. But don't get used to it, in a few months, You'll be the one wishing you could rest !

That's what they do at this age. Anyway, often a long sleep is dogs way to deal with the stress.
If it's your new pup, try to imagine her situation.
Wouldn't you be stressed?
If all the rest is normal, just relax and enjoy the quiet :)
It will change :)))

Yes, their bodies are growing and have to sleep a lot, and as a heads up if your puppy is a larg breed, do not run him at full speed until it is full grown or it can mess up his growing joints. I hope I helped.
