Some people believe Christopher Marlowe is the true Shakespeare. They believe that after he was murdered, he continued to write under the pseudonym Shakespeare. I am just wondering why he had to die and why he couldn't just stop being a spy and start writing plays.

I was born and brought up in Germany where roads are gritted as soon as snow starts to fall. Some years ago, I can remember council workers digging snow off the roads with shovels so that cars could get to the station. I don't remember the year but this was a particularly bad year for snow. I have seen on the news that London Underground worked hard last night to keep the underground working but, if you cannot get to the station because the roads have not been gritted, then they are wasting their time.

An extra day off, more time under the warm duvet, extra sleep time, less stress, sounds good don't it, especially when the weather is as cold as today.

Any good excuses that you've made up?

I am not trying to make a victim out of anyone. Sure we hear about soilders dying every day and I know that 3,000+ is not a lot to SOME people but it is a lot to me. It seems like hearing about soilders dying everyday is almost normal now and that is sad. We are in a DAMN war people and it is only going to get worse. THINK ABOUT it. I am not asking you to worry about it but for crying out loud THINK ABOUT it.

First of all I'd like to say I'm not anti-American, as a British person living in Britain there is so much about American culture that I love. However, when viewing a news report this evening covering the story of a British serviceman killed by American friendly fire in Iraq, the consensus of Americans interviewed on the street was that British people should be grateful that the US "saved" them in WW2, let alone complain about American friendly fire in a present day war. Its like they believed the US was almost holy in their world status. Am I the only person that thinks the war began in 1939 and that Pearl Harbour was the reason the US joined WW2? Is it right that movies such as Saving Private Ryan and U-571 only focus on the US contribution to World War 2? My granddad was in active combat back then and was a brave and most of all humble fighter - surely that is geniune selfless altruism? I really don't want to think that millions of people could have this attitude.

I see everyone talking about the arrested astronaut, with the centerpeice being her wearing diapers. Thats not much of a stretch, kinda an obvious method considering she's an astronaut. When i first read about this, what stood out to me was the "steel mallet, 4 inch knife, trash bags and RUBBER TUBING" Does no one realize what the RUBBER TUBING was for? It would enable her to cut off a persons limbs, yet keeping them alive by preventing death and/or unconsciousness from blood loss. That way she could keep her alive longer, submitting her to the torture of having more body parts cut off while being aware of it, and extracting all the possible info she wanted by promising a quick death. IM SICK OF HEARING ABOUT THE DARN DIAPERS is all im saying.
