Yes, it happened to me. I sued myself and had a restraining order put in place.

If you truly work alone, unless you've got some
really serious multiple personality issues, probably not.

However, lots of self employed people have
problems with harassment from vendors and
customers they work with.

In fact, in some ways its more insideous
because the "boss" relationship isn't as apparent
but customers tend to have a lot of power over
self employed people.

I think these folks are missing the point. If you run a service based business, you deal with the public as direct as you can get. ....and yes you might get harrassed.

I honestly don't know how the laws work (or if they DO) in your situation. Most of what I've heard has been site based. You might want to talk to the police if someone is really giving you a hard time. OR....you can just axe them off your schedule. It sux, because anyway it's handled you could lose.

Now...INFORMALLY...if I were you....I'd send a large mofo to knock on his door and "explain how you feel"

If and I mean "IF" your serious??? Then harassment could be possible!
*********************
e.g. "IF" your a SELF-EMPLOYED painter and you go to do a small job for a "Beautifull Lonely Young Doctors Wife" who is going thru POST-PARDUM depression and she HITS on you when your painting her living room and master bedroom???
**********************
Then "maybe" YES! Questions are: Unless your married or have a girl friend could you be inclined to enjoy the sex? Could her husband find out? What if you make her pregnant? Do you go back and paint her kitchen?
**********************
It could happen........."Believe It or Not"!!! LMAO!!!!

Are you being sexually harassed over the phone?

Self-abuse is not necessarily harmful -unless done to excess. If you are worried about this do talk it over with a doctor. There are surgical procedures that can help but it is probably better to avoid them if you can.

Technically...Your the Employer AND the Employee
...So...If you pay yourself a wage...you can 'technically' sue yourself.
As was mentioned in one of the other answers to this question...in the states you can do it... AND it has been done, But I am not sure if the circumstances were the same as yours.
