Apparently Madonna has decided to adopt a poor little baby from Africa and is for once not getting everything her way due to the laws in that country.

I am so sick of these people who have more money than those counties yet they sooth their souls by acting like saints in public.

If she cared so much about Africa, why does she not sell a few of those little homes she has all over the world and give it to the people of that country instead of ripping a child away from its spiritual and familiar community?

She could actually do so much to solve those political problems with all that cash, what is she trying to proove?

Was this the most sincere and humane leader that America has ever had and those since are a bunch of warmongers giving their buds who make profits out of war a helping hand? I am ex-army and I despair of what good and honest working stiffs who are willing to put their lives at risk are being put in harms way by stupid politicians with either a strategy for world domination or just out of control and need good hearted people to make some noise to get their attention

Is this a sufficient sentence for taking a young life. He got the boy into his home and beat him with a frying pan and then stabbed him 16 times. Is 12 years behind bars enough for a crime of this nature.

Nurses,Police,Firefighters,Teachers and doctors etc who help save peoples lives, educate the next generation and play a VITAL role in everyday life get paid a minimal wage and overated celebrities who dont really do anything get paid millions. What happened to earning your keep?

OK. Can someone please explain to me what is "indecent" about showing your face?

I'm a white nominally christian woman and so I do not cover my head or face as neither rmy culture or my religion requires me to. I DON'T wear miniskirts or revealing clothes - I usually wear long skirts, blouses, jeans sweaters etc, so I am clothed from head to foot.

So why would that be insufficient for a muslim woman - am I "indecent" in showing my head and face?

I also am not arrogant enough to consider myself so beautiful that any male who sees me will be overcome with lust for me. Maybe if I wandered around in a bikini or somethign but in everyday clothes, Jeans, sweaer etc, I'm sure the average male can cope.

So why are muslim women insisting its necessary to cover your face for "decency" and "modesty"? Whats immodest about showing your face? Are you somehow suggesting us non-muslim women who don't are being "immodest"??

My God, that would not only allow the poor little kid to stay in his own country and culture and - most importantly - with his real family and father (who must be heartbroken at having to give him up after losing his wife in childbirth). . .

But would feed most of their village for a year! Allow them to build a well for clean water, perhaps provide a salary for a doctor in the village? Build a school?

These people really do have more money than sense.

Its just like shopping to her isn't it? A new Gucci Handbag. A Rocking Horse from Harrods. A baby from Africa. So "this Season"!

Its "TO DIE FOR" daaaaaarhling!

Do you think they'll start issuing mail order catalgues of African babies (taken from their poverty stricken parents) for rich fashionable White women to choose from? All colours ages and sexes. Something to suit every occasion!

I thought the trade in Africans was illegal?

Malaysian archers are relying on icy fingers in their bid for medals at the Doha Asian Games.National (Korean) coach has ordered his archers to dip their hands in buckets of ice so they get accustomed to expected cold temperatures (59F)in Qatar's Al Wusayl Complex, about 20km north of Doha.
