In Jerusalem, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert told Israeli Cabinet ministers Sunday that Iran remained the greatest threat to Israel and he was concerned about the precedent set by the nuclear test conducted last week by North Korea.

"Whoever takes the Korean matter lightly will soon find a nuclear weapon in Iran and ultimately a nuclear weapon in al-Qaida," he said, according to an official who attended the meeting and spoke on condition of anonymity because he wasn't authorized to discuss the matter on the record.
Talibans, and Al Qaida, can procure these weapons from Pakistan which already had the material and the Nuclear bombs, and had not recognised Israel, and Osama is probably hiding in Pakistan. Why they have to rely on Iran for the nuclear material to use against Israel, if Pakistan can provide the terrorist the material they want.

It broke my heart to read that the baby's father had to give him up because he can't afford to support his little son.

No one should have to do that. Its inhuman.

If Madonnna really gives a sh1t about this poor little tike then why doesn't she just sponsor him - that would allow him to stay in his own country with his family and probably wouldn't cost her very much.

Why does she feel the need to take him out of his country and culture and away from his family! Its horrible to think that they may never see him again.

How would you feel if your son, nephew etc was taken away by a rich foreigner because you were poor, and you knew you'd never be able to see him again? If it was me I'd be heartbroken.

If she wants to adopt a child there are plenty in Britain who need adoption. She keeps saying she loves this country and its her home, then why doesn't she adopt a British child? Or is it that the "colour scheme" is not right? She doesn't want a white one!!!

I heard that you could pay to get a list of numbers --like from your cell phone or home phone-it was on a local news channel-but at the time I didn't think I would ever need or want to do that
Now I wish I knew how to get that information--I know there is a fee

my mom told me this person's we know husband's brother was somewhere with his wife and this man woudnt leave his wife alone so he said stop it or we'll call the police so the man grabbed him and bit a piece of his nose off. He had to get 20 stitches. No joke. He's afraid to tell the police though cause he could murder him, his wife and child. He knows someone who knows where they live. but they also know where the man lives.

OTTAWA (Reuters) - Canadian troops fighting Taliban militants in Afghanistan have stumbled across an unexpected and potent enemy -- almost impenetrable forests of 10-feet (three metre) high marijuana plants.

General Rick Hillier, chief of the Canadian defence staff, said on Thursday that Taliban fighters were using the forests as cover. In response, the crew of at least one armored car had camouflaged their vehicle with marijuana.

"The challenge is that marijuana plants absorb energy, heat very readily. It's very difficult to penetrate with thermal devices ... and as a result you really have to be careful that the Taliban don't dodge in and out of those marijuana forests," he said in a speech in Ottawa.

"We tried burning them with white phosphorous -- it didn't work. We tried burning them with diesel -- it didn't work. The plants are so full of water right now ... that we simply couldn't burn them," he said.

Even successful incineration had its drawbacks.

"A couple of brown plants on the edges of some of those (forests) did catch on fire. But a section of soldiers that was downwind from that had some ill effects and decided that was probably not the right course of action," Hillier said dryly.

One soldier told him later: "Sir, three years ago before I joined the army, I never thought I'd say 'That damn marijuana'."
